Mark Henry Says He Considered Retiring, WWE Classics In February

— In an interview published in the January 2012 issue of WWE Magazine, Mark Henry says he’s considered retiring from professional wrestling prior to his breakthrough run atop SmackDown.

When asked if there was ever a point where he thought about quitting, he said, “Well, I’m older in the business, and my children miss their dad. Not to mention the aches and pains are just making it harder to get through everything. But, right now, I’m feeling fresh and things are going well. I’m going to hang around as long as I can.”

“The World’s Strongest Man” also discusses the Hall of Pain, being motivated by past struggles, carrying the World Heavyweight Championship and more.
