Michael’s Musings: WWE TLC Predictions

Tomorrow night, WWE presents the final Pay-Per-Views of the year, TLC. I thought I would give you the readers my insights on what I believe is going to happen tomorrow night.

Ryback, Kane, and Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns in a six-man tag TLC match.
WWE seems to have been planting the seeds to this match even before CM Punk was forced off of the card. This marks to the first time that a TLC match will be decided via pinfall or submission, which technically means that this match is an Extreme Rules match. More importantally thought, this marks The Sheilds first match in front of a large WWE audiece. They all need to be impressive in this match to prove that they are not just another failed invasion group. Ambrose and Reigns have been ready for the big time for months so Reigns should be the one to worry. What kind of “big man” needs help to powerbomb someone? I would expect The Sheild to come away with the win this time. Ryback will be protected by not being pinned and Team Hell No will not lose the tag titles if one of them is pinned. This match is basically a throw away main event much like Punk vs Ryback would have been.

WINNERS: The Shield

Big Show vs. Sheamus in a chairs match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Sheamus and the Big Show have put on some good matches in their series and I suspect that tonight will be the end of their series since there must be a winner in this match. I will have to go with The Big Show to win this match since they have included William Regal in the final build for this match. I would expect a Regal run in with him turning heel to have The Big Show retain his championship.

WINNER: The Big Show

John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler in a ladder match for the World Heavyweght Championship Money in the Bank contract.
As the old saying goes, you never bet against the house and in WWE John Cena is The House. If the Big Show retains his championship, the WWE can tell the story about how John Cena now holds the Money in the Bank for the Big Shows title since Show caused John Cena to lose the other one. On the other hand, I believe that AJ will have some sort of psychotic break and “accidentally” cost John Cena the Money in the Bank.

WINNER: Dolph Ziggler

Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Title.
Why oh Why didn’t the WWE give these two men more mic time going into this match. This match is extremely close to call. Barrett has been made to look weak over the past could of week and the logical conclusion would be for Wade to get by his momentum with the title win. However, Kofi is a great champion and plays the underdog in matches very well. I will go for Kofi to retain the championship.

WINNER: Kofi Kingston

Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth for the U.S. Title.
Plain and simple, R-Truth stands no chance against Antonio Cesaro tomorrow. WWE seems intent on pushing Cesaro to the moon and R-Truth is just a pump in the road that will be flattened at TLC.

WINNER: Antonio Cesaro

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs. The Rhodes Scholars to become No. 1 contenders match for the WWE Tag Titles.
Rey Mysterio has been out of action for a couple of weeks because of “issues” and Sin Cara has shown that he does not have the capabilty to go a match in the long term after he looked gassed during his match with Alberto del Rio this month. Damien and Cody’s mustache have unfinished business with Kane and Daniel Bryan so it is a no brainer that they will win.

WINNERS: The Rhodes Scholars

Santa’s Helper Battle Royal to become No. 1 contender to the Divas Championship.
Can the WWE not think of anything else to determine the #1 Contender for the Divas Title than a battle royal? It has been done so many times it is ridiculous. Natalya and Kaitlyn are the front runners to win this match but I am going to go with Nattie because they have teamed her up with the kid friendly Giant and Midget.

WINNER: Natalya
