New Details On John Cena’s Divorce; Cena A “Wreck” & “Miserable”
According to a new report on TMZ.com, John Cena has been a “wreck” and “miserable” over his marriage behind the scenes for months, leading up to him filing for divorce from his high school sweetheart. Sources told TMZ, Cena was not shy about discussing his problems at home while hanging out backstage before WWE events.
Cena complained that his relationship with his wife Liz Huberdeau began to deteriorate shortly after they got married in 2009. Arguing between the couple began to escalate in the last few months, including spats over the remodeling of their Florida home.
Just 2 months before he filed for divorce, Cena was seen kissing his wife on Raw in Boston during the WrestleMania build-up on March 5, which was in the midst of their escalating problems.
TMZ reached out to Cena for a comment on the story, but he has not responded.
