News From Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore Debut – Edge Speaks In-Ring & More
- Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore promotion debuted in front of around 1,900 fans in Poughkeepsie, New York last night. The main event saw Dreamer defend his FWE Heavyweight Title against Carlito and Mike Knox. Carlito won the match and captured the title.
After the intermission, WWE Hall of Famer Edge came out and spoke. He put over how Tommy Dreamer worked hard to put on the show. Edge talked about how he was glad to get a chance to see the younger talents. He introduced The Young Bucks and the team of Brian Kendrick and Paul London, who would face each other next. Edge compared them to the team of he and Christian vs. The Hardys.
Dreamer told fans at the show that there will be a second House of Hardcore event. He commented on Twitter:
“Overwhelmed w/ the anount of people that r here to support @HouseofHardcore close to a sellout #ilovewrestling”
