News For Tonight’s Raw Tapings, AJ Lee Comments After WWE Live Event, JBL & Cole Show
- WWE will tape the New Year’s Eve edition of RAW tonight from the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. No matches have been announced but Ryback vs. CM Punk is advertised locally, although Punk isn’t expected to wrestle tonight. - The storyline between AJ Lee and John Cena has continued on the RAW Holiday tour. Last night’s cage match between Cena and Dolph Ziggler saw Big E Langston stop Cena from escaping several times. AJ tweeted after the match:
“Tonight, at a Raw live event, I slapped Cena’s perfectly chiseled jaw into next week. He then kissed me. I love these games we play, Johnny.”
