AN EXTREME DEBUT!!!!!!
Inside a sold out MCI Centre in Washington it was co GM Paul Heyman coming down to ringside and he addressed the fans that tonight there would be 2 qualifying matches for the House of Pain match for SummerSlam, he said that the two matches for tonight are Sabu facing off against AJ Styles and Chris Benoit taking on Mike Awesome, at Nitro there will be three more matches and those matches are RVD taking on Christian, Rhino against John Cena and Raven against Jerry Lynn, yes thanks to Stephanie McMahon 2 members of the Alliance have to face each other to determine who will enter the 6 man house of pain match for the ECW Championship, last Monday we demonstrated that we can destroy Abyss and soon he will lose that title, all qualifying matches are under Extreme Rules so anything goes, he said tonight Sabu & Mike Awesome qualify and we will have 5 members of the Alliance against the champion as Heyman laughed and said his plan will come together.
In the first match it was Sabu taking on AJ Styles in the first Qualifying match for the House of Pain match as Sabu took full control in the early going and worked onto the ribs of Styles and slammed him hard into the corner and than nailed a couple of shoulderblocks into the midsection of Styles, he than picked him up and put him onto the top turnbuckle and followed but Styles countered and delivered with a Hurricarana of the top as the fans loved it as Styles covered but Sabu kicked out, Styles than nailed a German Suplex on Sabu and went to the top and delivered with a flying body splash and covered but again Sabu kicked out, the action went to the outside as Styles closelined Sabu over the ropes to the outside and than elevated himself over the ropes right onto Sabu, Styles than picked up Sabu and dropped him head first onto the ring barrier, he than wanted to slam Sabu into the steel steps but Sabu countered that and slammed Styles hard into the steps as Styles was in huge pain as Sabu recovered and grabbed a chair as Styles tried to get back up as Sabu clocked the chair right into the face of Styles knocking him out cold, Sabu grabbed a table and set it up and the outside and than dropped Styles onto it as Sabu went up the apron with the chair and than jumped right onto Styles chair first right threw the table as the fans went completely nuts as Styles could have been broken in half as Sabu got back up and rolled Styles into the ring and covered him but Styles somehow kicked out, Sabu than put the chair between the two ropes in a corner and than slammed Styles hard into the corner as Styles dropped to the knees in pain as Sabu than nailed a kick to the head and covered but again Styles kicked out, Sabu went to the outside and brought another table and set it up but Styles fought back and nailed Sabu with several right hands but Sabu than nailed a knee into the midsection and nailed a double arm DDT on Styles, he than put Styles onto the table and went to the top and signalled for it and there it comes Atomic Arabian Face Buster right threw the table and Sabu covered and got the win in a very exciting match as Sabu qualifies himself for SummerSlam and a change of becoming the ECW World champion.
Michael Shane came down to ringside and he said that last Monday he showed who was the better wrestler, he said he was better than his uncle and proved it as he retained his Television Championship but before he would give himself all the credit he brought out the Honour Society as Mark Jindrak and Garrison Cade came down to ringside as Shane shook there hands, he continued saying that he watched RAW and saw the Honour Society battling the now former DX and have beaten down HBK several times so why not hire them for the night and do that once again, he taught his uncle a lesson, this brought out HBK Shawn Michaels who stood onto the ramp and said it took 3 men to beat him but if Shane was that good why not have a re-match here tonight one on one, the TV title didn’t interest him just the both of them and let’s see who is better as fans wanted to see that as Shane said it wouldn’t happen because he had a day off but he had a idea, if Shawn could beat the Honour Society here tonight in a Handicap Match he would face his uncle next Monday one on one, HBK said fine as the match was on as the bell rang as Michael went to the announcers table for commentary.
HBK ran down to the ring and entered the ring as Jindrak & Cade beat him down and held him to the mat, they than slammed HBK hard into the corner and worked on him with hard stiff shots to the face as Michael said on the commentary that his uncle was a idiot of accepting this challenge, they send HBK into the ropes and connected with a body back body drop as Cade dropped a elbow and covered but HBK kicked out, Jindrak than picked up HBK and nailed a backbreaker on him and held him into a submission as Cade yelled at HBK to tap as HBK refused Jindrak than reversed it into a side walk slam and covered but HBK kicked out, they than slammed HBK into the corner as Jindrak followed as HBK ducked and than superkicked Cade down to the mat as Jindrak than wanted to attack Shawn but Shawn closelined Jindrak down as Jindrak got back up Shawn picked him up and nailed a atomic drop on him and than nailed a Russian leg Sweep on him and covered but Jindrak kicked out as Shane said Shawn was lucky so far, HBK than send Jindrak into the ropes and dropkicked him down but Cade than closelined HBK down from behind and jumped on top of him and beat him with lefts and rights, he than slams HBK into the corner and kicks him several times into the midsection and than he grabs HBK and delivers a belly to belly out of the corner and covers but HBK kicks out, Cade than delivers with a body press slam and went to the top and looked for a 450 splash but HBK rolled out of the way as Cade crashes into the mat, Jindrak is back up and picks up HBK and slams him head first into the turnbuckles and than he picks him up and delivers a side walk slam on HBK and covers but again HBK kicks out, Jindrak send HBK into the ropes and connected with a big boot to the face as Jindrak than went to the top and delivered a flying elbow and covered but somehow HBK kicked out as Jindrak became a little frustrated, Cade was also back up as the double team began once again, they went to the outside and dropped HBK right onto the announcers table head first as HBK lay before Michael Shane who yelled at HBK if he liked the beating so far, they than grabs him and double teams him right into the steel steps as HBK was in huge pain but they weren’t done and again slammed HBK hard into the steps and than they rolled him back into the ring as Cade covered but HBK kicked out just in time, they than send HBK into the ropes but misses a closeline on him as HBK than nailed both men with a flying closeline as the fans went behind HBK as he jumped back up and closelined both men down several times, he than closelines Cade over the ropes to the outside and send Jindrak into the ropes and connected with a flying fore arm as HBK got back up and went to the top and delivered a flying elbow and than signalled for it as he tuned up the band to give Jindrak some Sweet Chin Music but Cade grabbed HBK by the feet and pulled him down and grabbed both legs and wanted to slam him into the steps but HBK countered as Cade slammed head first into the steel post and looked out as HBK got back up it was Michael Shane who left the announcers table and grabbed his belt as HBK had his head between the ropes as Shane clocked the belt right into the face of HBK which the ref didn’t see as Jindrak crawled over and made the cover as Shane on the outside held the legs of HBK as Jindrak got the win for his team, after the match Michael Shane entered the ring and awaited his uncle to get back up as HBK turned around he was met with Sweet Chin Music by his cousin as Michael Shane held the TV Championship in the air as he outsmarted his uncle again here tonight.
America’s Most Wanted came down to ringside as Harris took a mic and he said that last Monday he saw MNM become the Unified Tag Team champions but he said that they won that match because they weren’t in it, he said at Mania they beat MNM and showed the world that they were the most dominant tag team in wrestling history and therefore they deserve the first shot at the gold, Storm said they were 7 times Tag Team champions and if one team deserves to be the Nitro Tag Team champions than they were the team to hold the titles, he said that they officially challenge MNM for a match at SummerSlam, for MNM a re-match but for us a match to reclaim what is ours, he further said it didn’t care what match stipulation there would be because they knew that they are better and could beat them under any circumstances, this brought out World Tag Team champions MNM as Melina had a mic and she said that AMW had a big mouth but hadn’t proved anything yet, history doesn’t count but the future does and if she is correct they weren’t the Tag Team champions of Smackdown so why would they deserve a first shot at the titles, Harris told Melina that if they wanted some real competition that they were the men who would give them that, he said a re-match from Mania only this time with the gold on the line, at Mania AMW were the Undisputed Tag Team champions and if MNM think that they are better than them than accept the challenge and let’s see who walks out of SummerSlam the Tag Team champions, Melina looked at her boys and she said that her boys will accept there challenge but she said it won’t be a one fall match so you can cheat again to beat my boys, it will be a 2 out of 3 falls match, AMW accepted the challenge and said that at SummerSlam they would be 8 time Tag Team champions and got back what belonged to them.
Chris Benoit took on Mike Awesome in the second Extreme Rules Match to determine a contender in the House of Pain Match as the Alliance made it known that Benoit could be a serious contender to enter it Raven & Jerry Lynn were also at ringside as Awesome overpowered Benoit in the early going and slammed him hard into the corner and followed but Benoit countered with a elbow and than nailed a suplex on Awesome as Lynn jumped on the apron but Benoit clocked him right into the face but Raven sneaked up from behind and nailed a Evenflow DDT on Benoit as Awesome rolled over and covered but somehow Benoit kicked out as the Alliance couldn’t believe it, Awesome send Benoit into the ropes and caught him and nailed a military press slam on him and covered but Benoit kicked out, Awesome threw Benoit to the outside were Raven & Lynn attacked Benoit and slammed him back first into the ring barrier and than did it another time as Awesome grabbed a chair and clocked it right into the face of Benoit who was slowly bleeding, they rolled Benoit back into the ring as Awesome followed with the chair and dropped it onto the mat and picked up Benoit and looked for a Powerbomb on him but Benoit dropped to a knee and nailed a low blow on Awesome and than nailed a vicious DDT right onto the chair as Raven entered the ring but Benoit caught him with a belly to belly and than dropkicked Lynn off the apron as Benoit went to the top and delivered with a diving head butt on Awesome and covered but Awesome kicked out, Benoit than grabbed the chair as Awesome got back up as Benoit clocked him right between the eyes as Raven also tried to attack Benoit but Benoit also clocked him with a chair knocking him out of the ring, Jerry Lynn went to the top and jumped to Benoit but Benoit saw it coming and slammed the chair right into the face of Lynn knocking him out cold as well, Awesome was back up as Benoit slammed the chair several times onto the back of Awesome before he put him into the Crossface as Awesome screamed in pain and tried to reach the ropes but he couldn’t as he couldn’t do anything else than to tap out as Chris Benoit has advanced to the House of Pain Match at SummerSlam as well.
Batista made his way to ringside as he said that at Judgment Day everybody knows that he should have walked out as World Heavyweight champion, he said that he deserved another shot at the gold because it was the fault of Sabin costing him that title and he called him out as Sabin made his way down to ringside along with Ric Flair, Batista said he wanted a apologize of Sabin for Judgment Day, Sabin said he wouldn’t because if he remembered correctly it was Batista attacking him instead of otherwise and he cost him a World Heavyweight Championship, Flair again said that they should function as a group and not attack each other, both are great contenders of facing the champion but more competition have come up lately and they need to overcome those and still be on top, Batista wanted to know if Flair was behind him or behind Sabin in this, he said he knew him from day one when Evolution became a group, Flair said he was behind both but Batista said he had to chose here right now, would he stick with him or with Sabin because Sabin needs to know his place in this group, Flair looked at Sabin and than went behind Batista who smiled to Sabin and said to him that maybe Sabin needs a lesson in learning what his place is in the group, Sabin said that Batista has complaint a lot lately and he simple had enough of all the crap he tells every single week, the only man who cost you your championship is yourself and stop blaming anybody else for it, Batista said he had enough and Sabin had one change and that was join Evolution or leave it, Sabin said that he had a big surprise for Batista that he wouldn’t forget, he said that the group is no longer functioning as a team because Batista is the cause of that as Flair low blowed Batista as Sabin grabbed him and nailed the Future Shock on Batista as he and Flair shook hands and laughed as both men raised there hands high up in the air, could this be the break up of Evolution as the show went off the air.
