A MATCH MADE IN HELL!!!!!
Inside a completely sold out Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey the show started with a qualifying match for the House of Pain match at SummerSlam as Rob van Dam took on Christian in the openings bout of Nitro as the match went under Extreme Rules, RVD had the opening and wanted to finish Christian off early, RVD nailed a backbreaker and held Christian into a submission but he refused to tap as RVD nailed a side walk slam and went to the outside and grabbed a chair and came back in but Christian countered it and dropkicked the chair right into the face of RVD and covered but RVD kicked out, Christian nailed a belly to belly and went to the top and delivered with a flying elbow on RVD and covered again but RVD kicked out again, Christian send RVD into the ropes but misses a closeline as RVD nailed Christian with a heel kick and grabbed the chair and clocked it several times onto the back of Christian who was in real pain as Christian lay into the corner as RVD than ran to the corner and threw the chair before him and dropkicked it right into the face of Christian who was bleeding right now as RVD picked him up and made a cover but Christian kicked out, RVD than nailed a rolling thunder and went to the top and signalled for it but Christian rolled out of the way as RVD crashed himself right into the mat as Christian slowly got back up and grabbed the chair and clocked it right into the face of RVD, Christian than put the chair between 2 ropes and slammed RVD into the opposite corner and nailed him with hard right hands and than send him to the other corner but RVD reversed it as Christian went hard into the corner as RVD grabbed him and levelled him with a vicious DDT and covered but somehow Christian kicked out, RVD went to the outside and grabbed a chair and brought it into the ring and set it up into the corner and than worked on Christian slamming him head first into the turnbuckles and followed it with a couple of shoulder blocks into the midsection of Christian and than wanted to slam Christian right threw the table but this time it was Christian who reversed it as RVD slammed hard threw the table as the fans loved the action as Christian covered but RVD kicked out just in time, Christian than dropped a chair onto the mat and picked up RVD and signalled for the Unprettier onto the chair but RVD countered it and pushed Christian into the ropes and connected with a back body drop right onto the chair, RVD than dropped a leg drop right onto Christian who still laid onto the chair as RVD went to the top and there it comes 5 Star Frog Splash that shook the ring as RVD made the cover for the win to advance to the House of Pain match to have a shot of winning back his ECW World Championship.
It was than time for HHH to make his way down to ringside as he said that last week Angle accused him of costing him the Unified Heavyweight Championship and maybe he did that but it was all Angle his own fault turning his attention on the Game, HHH said he has said it before that everybody that wants to play his game fails in that, he could name a number of superstars who tried to take his spotlight but they all failed to do that, he made superstars like HBK & Goldberg looking like fools against him and he beat them on the biggest stage of them all at WrestleMania and now another former RAW superstar wants to go at the game, you know what Angle why don’t you come out and brag about how good you are and that you are going to beat me because you are that good blab blab bla, HHH said he was out here because he wants a title shot at the Undertaker at SummerSlam because he is the only superstar that deserves a shot, this brought out Kurt Angle and he said he heard enough, HHH might have a decent record but Angle has that as well, he said that HHH wanted a challenge so why don’t you put your words up and face me and we than see who will be the 1# contender right here tonight, this brought out GM Stephanie McMahon, she said that both men had some points and that for SummerSlam it would be Kurt Angle v HHH in a 1# contenders match as both men looked at each other.
In the next match it was Raven taking on fellow ECW Alliance member and tag team partner Jerry Lynn to see who would qualify for the House of Pain match, both men looked at each other as they hooked it up as Lynn fell to the mat as Raven wanted to make the cover but this brought out the 7 foot 500 pounds Big Show who entered the ring as Raven & Lynn looked at him and wanted to attack him but Show closelined both men down, Show slammed Lynn hard into the corner and than slammed Raven behind it as he than grabbed both men by the throat and chokeslammed the living hell out of them, Paul Heyman came out and he said that Show didn’t had any business being in the ring, he said that Show made a big mistake in pointing his nose into the business of the Alliance, Show had a mic as well as he said that Heyman should keep his mouth closed, he said he could beat whatever superstar there will be in his way and if Heyman thought that all members of the Alliance could stop him he would be deadly wrong, he said that he was here for a purpose and that was entering the House of Pain match because he wants to become the ECW champion, Heyman said he would never allow him to enter that match because all the places have been taken, Show said that there is still one open space because both Lynn & Raven haven’t won here a match and since the match is a Extreme Rules match I just entered myself into this match making it a 3 way dance as he grabbed both Lynn & Raven again and nailed another double chokeslam as he covered both men as the ref counted as Big Show seems to have advanced to the House of Pain Match as Heyman yelled furious that this isn’t going to happen as Show had a smile on his face and signalling that the gold would be his.
A furious Heyman stormed into the office of Stephanie McMahon as he said that the result of the last match would not count due to outside interference of a superstar who wasn’t supposed to be in that match, Stephanie looked at Paul and she said that she couldn’t do anything about it because if she was correct she heard that in a Extreme Rules match anything could happen and that was just the case in this one so you can scream and yell what you want but it were your own rules and now thanks to those rules the Big Show has given himself a spot in the House of Pain match as Heyman walked off and slammed the door as Stephanie smiled as she said it’s always nice to see a plan fall together.
In the third match of the evening it was another Extreme Rules Match as Rhino took on former RAW champion John Cena, Cena started aggressive and closelined Rhino down several times, he than slammed him face first into the turnbuckles and than nailed a German suplex and covered but Rhino kicked out, Cena than closelined Rhino over the ropes to the outside, Cena followed and grabbed some cables and choked Rhino with it, he than picked up Rhino and slammed him back first into a steel post as Rhino was hurt as Cena kicked him down to the ground, Cena rolled Rhino back into the ring and followed and covered but Rhino kicked out, Cena than send Rhino into the ropes and misses a closeline as Rhino than connected with a flying closeline, Rhino than jumped onto Cena and nailed him with lefts and rights, Rhino than picks up Cena and nails a back body suplex on him and covered but Cena kicked out, Rhino than nailed a brainbuster on Cena and went to the second rope and jumped to Cena but Cena put his feet up as he got back up and closelined Rhino down, Cena than nails a sunset flip on Rhino and rolls to the outside and grabbed a chair and entered the ring again as Cena slammed the chair right onto the back of Rhino who rolled threw the ring in pain as Cena continued to assault Rhino with the chair, Cena dropped the chair to the mat and picked up Rhino and delivered a piledriver right onto the chair as Cena covered but Rhino kicked out, Cena than slams Rhino into the corner and follows but Rhino counters with a elbow to the face as he than runs to Cena but Cena counters with a baseball slide as Rhino is slammed head first into the steel chair as Cena covers but somehow Rhino kicks out, Cena picks up Rhino and send him into the ropes and ducks as Rhino grabs Cena and DDT him right onto the chair and covered but Cena kicked out, Rhino grabbed the chair as Cena tried to get back up as Rhino clocked the chair right into the face of Cena who was slightly bleeding, Cena was back up as Rhino looked for the Gore but Cena saw him coming and grabbed him and turned it into a spinebuster as both men were down as the ref checked on them but couldn’t do anything, Cena slowly got back up and picked up the chair as Rhino also was back up his feet and turned around as Cena clocked it right into the face of Rhino sending him down to the mat, Cena than hits the 5 star knuckle shuffle on Rhino and covers but Rhino somehow kicks out, Cena than signals for the end and picks up Rhino and delivers with the FU but he isn’t finished as he put Rhino into the STFU as Rhino couldn’t go anywhere but wait a minute as RVD ran to ringside as he than hit a low drop kick on Cena right into the face to release the hold, he than slammed Cena hard into the corner and followed but Cena kicked RVD into the midsection and than threw him to the outside as he than turned around Rhino nailed Cena with a vicious Gore and covered for the win as the Alliance cost John Cena a spot in the House of Pain Match at SummerSlam.

Team Canada made there way to ringside as Bobby Roode took a mic and said that he and Johnny & Eric will recruit more Canadians to there group, he said superstars like Petey Williams, Christian, Edge & Chris Jericho could be free to take there offer to become a member of Team Canada, Petey Williams came out as Roode told Williams that the Light Weight champion would be a very nice addition for Team Canada, Williams said he is a proud Canadian and accepted the offer of joining the group, Roode than called out Chris Jericho as Jericho made his way to ringside, Roode said that Jericho has done it all but lately it seems that he is on the short end of things, haven’t received any title shots lately and has been left in the shadow after he was the first Undisputed champion, Roode said that Jericho could fit perfectly in this group and Team Canada will make sure that Jericho will shine once more and be on top of the world once again, Jericho said that he was indeed on a short end lately and he is a proud Canadian but he doesn’t feel enough to join a group, he said he wanted to do things on his own without help of anybody else, he achieved to become the first ever undisputed champion and he will achieve it on his own to once again be successful in the wrestling business, Roode said he understood that but he said that Jericho shouldn’t ignore them that easily, he said he would give Jericho some more time to think about it but Jericho said he didn’t needed that because his decision wouldn’t change as Roode said that was sad because that means that you don’t trust Team Canada as Young & Devine attacked Jericho from behind but Jericho fought back and closelined both men down as Williams also interfered as he fought all 3 men off him but as he turned around Roode grabbed him and nailed him with the Northern Lariat as Team Canada stood before a fallen Chris Jericho.
Shawn Michaels was next as he faced one half of the Honour Society Garrison Cade as Mark Jindrak was at ringside, HBK dominated the match in the early going giving Cade a serious beat down as Jindrak tried to interfere early but HBK knocked him off the apron and continued his beat down on Cade, he slammed Cade into the corner and stepped onto the second rope and nailed him with 10 right hands, he than nailed a belly to belly out of the corner and covered but Cade kicked out, HBK than send Cade into the ropes and connected with a back body drop, HBK than nailed a double underhook suplex and went to the top but Jindrak tried to interfere again but HBK saw momentum and jumped right onto Jindrak knocking him out cold as the fans loved it as HBK slowly crawled back into the ring as Cade saw the momentum and kicked HBK down into the corner and choked him with a foot onto the throat, Cade than picked up HBK and delivered a body press slam on HBK and covered but HBK kicked out, Cade than put HBK into a bear hug but HBK refused to tap out and eventually was able to counter it into a Fall Away Slam as both men were down as the ref made the count on both, Cade got up first and picked up HBK and slammed him head first into the turnbuckles and than put him on top of it and followed as Cade looked for a Super Plex but HBK fought back and nailed a Hurricarana of the top right back into the ring as the fans couldn’t believe it what they just saw and went completely crazy, HBK slowly made the cover on Cade but somehow Cade was able to kick out, HBK got back up and look to turn on the band as Jindrak again jumped on the apron as HBK missed a closeline on him as Jindrak grabbed the head of HBK and elevated it onto the top rope as HBK bounced back as Cade landed a double arm DDT and covered but HBK is able to kick out just in time as Jindrak couldn’t believe it, Cade threw HBK to the outside and distracted the ref as Jindrak assaulted HBK on the outside and slammed him hard into the steel steps and rolled him back into the ring as Cade than looked for a Powerbomb but somehow HBK countered it with a back body drop, HBK picked up Cade and send him into the ropes but Cade reversed it but HBK nailed Cade with a double arm closeline and jumped back on his feet and climbed the ropes and delivered a flying elbow as he signalled for it as Jindrak entered the ring but HBK saw him coming and picked him up and nailed a Atomic Drop on him and than closelined him over the ropes to the outside as HBK turned around as Cade was back up his feet and turned around and there it comes Sweet Chin Music that shook the ring as HBK made the cover for the win, after the match as HBK got back up it was Michael Shane who ran to ringside and clocked the TV Championship right into the face of HBK knocking him out cold as the fans booed him as he held the TV championship high into the air with a big smile on his face.
Chris Sabin came down to ringside along with Ric Flair as Sabin took a mic and he said that since last Saturday fans all over the world ask him the same question why did they do what they did and the answer is simple, Evolution wasn’t all about Batista and that was something he thought to be the case, what we did to HHH back in time we now did to Batista as well, he was the supposed leader of the group and everybody needed to do what he wanted and that was why he had the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist for so long but since he lost it he only complained and it was everybody his fault but not his and the time was now that we had enough, Evolution is no longer, we taught you a lesson last week but now it was time for some serious business, you want a title shot but if you want to succeed in that you first have to run threw me, that’s right Batista, I challenge you to a match at SummerSlam to see who was the better wrestler in Evolution, Flair took a mic and said he sees the future in Chris Sabin and he proved it last week that he has made that step to the big leagues and what a better way to start a main event career than beat down his former Evolution member Batista, this brought out Batista who said that last week it was Flair turning on him and joined forces with Sabin, Evolution is over and that’s fine because now he doesn’t have to worry about them any more, he said he would accept the challenge for SummerSlam but he wanted a piece of Flair as well, he said that next week on Nitro he wanted to face Flair one on one and make him pay for his betrayal, Flair said he would accept his challenge and teach Batista a lesson that only a 16 time World champion could give you.
It was time for the main event as Abyss put his ECW World Championship on the line against Big Sexy Kevin Nash, Nash tried to overpower Abyss in the early going but this match always faces a ECW rules as Abyss fought back and send Nash into the ropes and picked him up for a body press slam and covered but Nash kicked out, Abyss send Nash into the corner and followed with a stiff closeline and than nailed a belly to belly out of the corner, Abyss than picked up Nash and nailed a Full Nelson slam on him and covered but again Nash kicked out, Abyss send Nash into the ropes and ducked as Nash kicked him right into the face and closelined him down, Nash than slammed Abyss into the corner and than nailed Abyss with a huge elbow into the corner, Nash send Abyss into the ropes and grabbed him and nailed a side walk slam on him and covered but Abyss kicked out, Nash than nailed Sneak Eyes on Abyss and followed that one with a big boot as Nash signalled for it and looked for the Jackknife Powerbomb but Abyss countered it with a back body drop, Abyss than rolled to the outside and grabbed a table and brought it into the ring, he set it up and slammed Nash head first into the turnbuckles as Abyss than looked for a powerbomb right threw the table but Nash countered with a back body drop as Abyss fell right threw the table, Nash than picked up Abyss and threw him to the outside and followed, Nash picked up Abyss and slammed him back first into the ringpost and than cleaned the announcers table and grabbed Abyss and than nailed a vicious Jackknife Powerbomb on Abyss right threw the table as the fans went nuts as Nash than rolled Abyss back into the ring and followed and made the cover but somehow Abyss kicks out as Nash couldn’t believe it, Nash than rolled to the outside and grabbed a chair and entered again as Abyss got back up as Nash clocked the chair right into the face of Abyss who fell to one knee but again stood back up as Nash clocked it a second time right into the face of Abyss but Abyss again didn’t go down completely as Abyss got back up as Nash threw the chair to Abyss who caught it but Nash than nailed a big boot right into the chair into the face of Abyss knocking him down as Nash covered but again Abyss kicks out as Nash couldn’t believe it, Nash picks up Abyss and signals for it and nails another devastating Jackknife Powerbomb on Abyss and covered but Abyss kicked out just in time as Nash argued with the ref that it was 3, Nash send Abyss into the ropes and looked for another big boot but misses a Abyss turned around and grabbed Nash by the throat and chokeslammed him down, Abyss grabbed the chair and clocked it into the midsection of Nash and than right onto the back of Big Sexy, the monster than drops the chair onto the mat and send Nash into the ropes and there it comes Black Hole Slam right onto the chair but Abyss wasn’t done as he picked up Nash once again and again send him into the ropes and nailed a second devastating Black Hole Slam right onto the chair as Abyss covered for a impressive win against a former RAW & SD world champion, after the match the Big Show comes out as Abyss sees him coming and stands with title in hand as Show enters the ring as both monsters stare at each other as Show pointed at the title and than to his waist that it would soon be his as Abyss came nose to nose with Show as the champion made it known that he would be a fighting champion as the show went off the air.
