AN EXTREME ALLIANCE!!!!
Inside a sold out Civic Centre in Hartford, Connecticut it was Rob van Dam coming out first with Rhino and he said that last Monday they let Benoit now what extreme was and he didn’t see it coming, he said that on August 27 he would once again hold his ECW World Heavyweight championship, he said it may be a 3 on 3 match but that isn’t the case, we are with 3 and the other 3 will all want to win it themselves, he said the Alliance would do whatever is necessary in bringing the championship back home, he said that Benoit found out how the Alliance do business and Abyss & Show will find that out as well, this brought out Chris Benoit as Benoit said that he was ambushed by the Alliance but he didn’t care about that and he said that he could beat both men here tonight, RVD said that if Benoit wanted both men he could get them but GM Stephanie McMahon appeared on the big screens as she said that tonight they would indeed face off but she would give Benoit a partner the ECW world champion Abyss and this all under Extreme Rules Match but no one of the Alliance can interfere in the match otherwise all members of the Alliance will be out of the House of Pain match at SummerSlam.
The Honour Society took on the Hardy Boys as Jindrak opened against Matt as Jindrak overpowered Matt and slammed him into the corner and worked on his midsection, he than nailed a uppercut on Matt and send him into the ropes and connected with a back body drop and tagged in Cade as they double teamed Matt and slammed him hard into the corner as Cade followed with a closeline, Cade than picked up Matt and nailed a powerslam on him and covered but Matt kicked out, Cade than nailed a neckbreaker on Matt and covered again but he kicked out again, Cade send Matt into the ropes but misses a closeline as Matt counters with a flying heel kick and is able to tag in Jeff who closelined Cade down several times as Jindrak enters the ring as Jeff dropkicks him down, Jeff than sends Cade into the ropes and kicks him into the midsection and nailed him with a double arm DDT and covered but Cade kicked out, Jeff than went to the top and delivered with a flying elbow but Jindrak broke up the count and threw Jeff over the ropes to the outside but Matt attacked Jindrak and slammed him head first into the turnbuckles, he than picks up Jindrak and nails him with a Fall Away Slam and went to the second rope and nailed Jindrak with a flying leg drop and covered but Jindrak kicked out, Cade who was also on the outside beat down Jeff and dropped him head first onto the ring barrier and than he picked him up and slammed him against the ring post as inside the ring Matt had control over Jindrak and send him into the ropes and kicked him into the midsection and signalled for it but Jindrak pushed Matt away and connected with a big boot and than tagged in Cade, Cade picked up Matt and nailed him with a body press slam and covered but Matt kicked out, Cade than nailed a German Suplex on Matt and tagged in Jindrak who went to the top and delivered a flying body splash and covered but Jeff broke it up just in time, Jeff send Jindrak into the ropes but Jindrak reversed it and than kicked Jeff into the midsection and than nailed a Pump Handle Slam on him, he tags in Cade who closelined Matt over the ropes the outside as they than signal for it and there it comes the Mark of Honour on Jeff as Cade makes the cover for the win as the Honour Society picks up the win but after the match they continued to beat down Jeff as Jindrak eventually picked him up and dropped him right onto Matt on the outside.
We are in the basement of the Civic Centre were we see Paul Bearer standing in the dark, he says that in 2 weeks time a new victim will be added to the dark lord his list, the dark hours ticking slowly away from the destiny of Bill Goldberg, the creatures of the night will witness carnage before the gates of Hell and when it will all be over Bill his soul will belong to my Undertaker, than it’s Kane that steps into the picture as Paul Bearer said yes my disciple from Hell, Kane has reunited once again with his dark brother, nothing can stop the force that looms into the shadow, the 2 most dominant men in wrestling history, Bill next week you will find out how it will feel to see the devil in his eyes when Kane will face you and the only thing you can do is pray and hope that he spares you as the Undertaker comes from behind and tells Goldberg that his time has come to Rest In Peace.
Kurt Angle took on AJ Styles in singles competition as Angle started aggressive in the match and overpowered Styles and send him into the ropes and closelined him down big time as Styles got back up as Angle grabbed him and delivered a back body suplex on Styles and covered but Styles kicked out, Angle than hit a belly to belly and after that he closelined Styles down once again and covered but Styles kicked out, Angle slammed Styles hard into the corner and followed but Styles countered it with a elbow to the face and than picked up Angle and dropped him head first onto the top turnbuckle and rolled him up but Angle kicked out, Styles than nailed a backbreaker on Angle and went to the second rope and delivered with a flying leg drop and covered but Angle kicked out, Styles than closelined Angle over the ropes to the outside and than elevated himself over the ropes right onto Angle as the fans were loving it, Styles got back up and picked up Angle and dropped him head first onto the ring barrier and than rolled him back into the ring as Styles jumped up the apron and elevated himself over the ropes right onto Angle with another leg drop and covered but Angle kicked out, Styles than nailed a neckbreaker on Angle and went to the top and delivered with a flying moonsault on Angle and covered but Angle kicked out, Styles send Angle in the ropes and ducked but Angle countered with a kick to the face and than closelined Styles down, Angle than grabbed Styles and nailed a German suplex on him, Angle send Styles into the ropes and caught him with a back body drop and than dropped a elbow on Styles and covered but Styles kicked out, Angle than nailed a side walk slam on Styles and went to the top and awaited Styles to get back up as Styles did Angle jumped at him but Styles saw it coming and caught Angle in mid air and nailed him with a body press slam and covered but Angle kicked out, Styles than looked for the Styles Clash but Angle countered that and pushed Styles into the ropes and nailed him with another back body suplex, Angle than nailed Styles with the Angle Slam as Angle than signalled for it but before he put him into the Ankle Lock it was HHH who made his way to ringside as Angle was distracted by HHH who pointed at Angle that he was next for him as Angle invited him in the ring but HHH laughed as Styles came from behind and rolled Angle up but Angle kicked out and got back up and closelined Styles down but HHH had a sledgehammer in hand as the ref checked Styles as Angle went threw the ropes and wanted to grab HHH but HHH countered that and nailed Angle with the sledgehammer right into the face as Angle bounced back into the ring as Styles got back up and picked up Angle and nailed the Styles Clash on Angle and covered as Styles made a shocking win thanks to a huge assist of HHH as HHH came into the ring and picked up Angle and said that he would humiliate him and he just did and than nailed a Pedigree on Angle as HHH held the sledgehammer in the air.
Maria was backstage as HHH passed by as Maria asked him for a reaction as HHH said that he paid Angle back for what he did last week only he did it different, Angle lost tonight against Styles because of me, I humiliated him in front of a world wide audience and that is exactly what will happen at SummerSlam, I will become the 1# contender and than at Havoc I will once again be the World Heavyweight champion and be on top of the mountain where I belong as he walked off with a smile on his face.
Next up was the 12 men Battle Royal Match to determine the 1# contender for the Light Weight Championship as Paul London, Amazing Red, Johnny Devine, Eric Young, Bryan Danielson, Shocker, Rey Mysterio, Shannon Moore, Austin Aries, Gregory Helms, Jamie Noble & Kid Kash as the match was underway, Aries & Helms seemed to help each other as they beat up Kash into the corner as Devine & Young went to work on Danielson, they slammed Danielson into the corner and beat him down and than they wanted to work him out but Danielson held onto the ropes, Moore tried to whip Mysterio out but Mysterio somehow reversed it as Moore was knocked out of the ring to the ground as he was the first one eliminated, Shocker dropkicked Noble down and than wanted to eliminate him but Noble held onto the ropes as Red helped Shocker eliminate Noble, they than worked on each other, Team Canada still tried to eliminate Danielson but London came to the rescue and tossed Young over the ropes to the outside as Danielson than tossed Devine with a back body suplex over the ropes to the outside as Team Canada had been eliminated as they were furious, Aries& Helms send Kash into the ropes and closelined him down, Shocker slammed Red head first into the turnbuckles and picked him up and nailed a fall away slam on him, London than dropkicked Shocker down to the mat, Danielson worked on Mysterio and hit a powerslam on him as Mysterio got back up as Danielson closelined him over the ropes to the outside as Mysterio was out as 7 men continues, Helms & Aries than continues the double team on Kash and eventually threw him over the ropes to the outside, they continued there double team this time on Red and nailed him with a double DDT, Danielson nailed a neckbreaker on Shocker as he and London eliminated Shocker as well as 5 men were over, Helms & Aries send Red into the ropes but Red countered it with a double closeline, London grabbed Red and pulled him up but Red reversed it into a hurricarana but Danielson than grabbed him and nailed him with the Dagger Bomb and threw him over the ropes to the outside as it came to the final four Paul London, Bryan Danielson, Gregory Helms & Austin Aries, Helms & Aries attacked both men as Helms slammed London into the corner and worked on his midsection as Aries attacked Danielson and send him into the ropes and connected with a back body drop and than slammed him into the opposite corner and kicked Danielson several times into the midsection as Aries looked at Helms and than wanted to slam London & Danielson against each other but London reversed it as Danielson than closelined Helms down big time as Aries wanted to nail him but Danielson ducked as London than superkicked Aries down to the mat, Danielson went to the top and delivered a diving head butt on Aries as London than picked up Helms and nailed him with a side walk slam and went to the top himself and delivered his Shooting Star Press on Helms, Danielson than nailed the Dagger Bomb on Aries as London whipped Helms over the ropes to the outside and Danielson did the same to Aries as it came to the last 2 as London and Danielson looked at each other to determine the 1# contender as London and Danielson hooked it up as London had the better and send Danielson into the ropes and kicked him into the midsection and than nailed him with a double arm DDT and made the cover but Danielson kicked out, London slammed Danielson into the corner and followed but Danielson countered and nailed London with a elbow and than nailed a belly to belly on London as Danielson went to the top and delivered with a 450 splash and covered but London kicked out, Danielson than nailed a brainbuster on London and than signalled for the end as he picked up London and looked for the Dagger Bomb but London countered the Dagger Bomb in a roll up and held Danielson as the ref counted for the 3 as London became the 1# contender as Danielson was shocked of what happened and looked at London who looked at Danielson as they stood before each other but Danielson than wanted to shake the hand of London who accepted it as Danielson walked off as London celebrated his win.
Michael Shane made his way to ringside and he said that next week everybody would think about him, everybody would love him and everybody wanted to be like him, next Sunday he would beat his uncle to retain his Television Championship and everybody would know who was the real champion around here, this brought out former champion Christopher Daniels, he said that Michael seems to brag a lot lately but first he should finish what he started, Daniels said that when he would beat HBK at SummerSlam he than would once again face him, he said he would challenge Michael to a match at Haloween Havoc for the TV Championship and he didn’t care what kind of match it would be, he said that Michael was lucky inside the Cell but if that match would happen again he would make sure that this time he walks out as TV champion, Michael said that Daniels has lost so much times already of him that he didn’t see him as a contender for the title and if he wanted to he first should be on the SummerSlam card and since he isn’t he wasn’t going to give him a titleshot, Daniels said it could be the easy way or the hard way, Michael said that it would be the hard way because it will be a hard way for him ever giving Daniels another shot at his gold.
It was time for the main event as Chris Benoit & Abyss took on ECW Alliance members Rob van Dam & Rhino as Benoit began the match against RVD and took control in early going in this Extreme Tag Rules Match, Benoit wanted to bust RVD open very fast but RVD quickly rolled out of the ring but Abyss followed him as he went back into the ring were Benoit was waiting for him and nailed a Back Body suplex, Abyss set up a table on the outside as Rhino went over and both started a brawl as Abyss got the better of Rhino and slammed him hard into the ring steps as inside the ring Benoit nailed a neckbreaker on RVD and than put him into a submission hold but RVD got himself out of it with a fall away slam as Abyss on the outside continued to beat up Rhino by slamming him several times into the steel steps as Abyss than picked up Rhino and powerbombed him straight threw the table as the fans were loving it, RVD send Benoit into the ropes and nailed him with a heel kick and than nailed a Rolling Thunder on Benoit and covered but Benoit kicked out as Abyss entered the ring and closelined RVD down big time, Abyss picked up RVD and dropped him head first onto the top turnbuckle and than nailed a belly to belly on him as Abyss rolled to the outside and grabbed himself another table and brought it into the ring and set it up in the corner and than worked on RVD in the opposite corner, he kicked RVD to the canvas and than choked him with a foot onto the throat, Benoit rolled to the outside and grabbed the legs of RVD and than pulled him right into the steel post as RVD was in pain but Benoit wasn’t done and slammed RVD his right leg hard into the post, Abyss than picks up RVD and nails a huge body press slam on him as he gets back up it’s Rhino who is back in the ring and Gores Abyss right threw the table in the corner as the fans couldn’t believe it what just happened as Rhino made the cover but Benoit broke it up just in time, Benoit than nailed a German Suplex on Rhino and than followed that with another one as Benoit went to the top and delivered with a diving head butt and made the cover but Rhino kicked out as Benoit than put Rhino into the Crossface as Rhino tried to reach the ropes but he couldn’t make it as RVD on the outside grabbed a chair and went back in the ring and clocked the chair right into the face of Benoit who released the hold as RVD continued to slam the chair onto the back of Benoit as Benoit was busted open, Rhino got back up as did Abyss but Rhino closelined Abyss over the ropes to the outside and than helped RVD beat up Benoit as Rhino nailed a reversed neckbreaker on Benoit as RVD nailed Benoit with another Rolling Thunder but somehow Benoit kicked out, Rhino than slammed Benoit into the corner and kicked him completely down and grabbed a chair and held it before Benoit as RVD ran to it and nailed a Vandaminator right into the corner and made the cover but Abyss pulled RVD out of the ring and smashed him against the ring barrier and than grabbed himself a chair and clocked it right into the face of RVD who was knocked out as Abyss entered the ring where Rhino was beating up Benoit as he turned around Abyss clocked Rhino right into the face knocking him out cold as Abyss dropped the chair onto the mat and picked up Rhino and send him into the ropes and nailed him with a big boot and than signalled for it and than delivered a massive Black Hole Slam right onto the chair but wait a minute as Big Show enters the ring and attacks the ECW champion as Show grabs Abyss by the throat and Chokeslams him right onto the chair but Show wasn’t done as he threw Abyss to the outside and cleared the announcers table and Chokeslammed him right threw the table as inside the ring Benoit and Rhino both got up and started to nail each other with lefts and rights as Benoit seem to have the advantage but RVD rolled back into the ring and nailed him with a low blow as Rhino than hit a Gore on Benoit as he signalled to RVD to go up as RVD did and nailed the 5 Star Frog Splash on Benoit that shook the ring as RVD got the win for his team, after the match Show entered the ring and closelined both men down and beat on them but Abyss slowly got back up and searched underneath the ring as he grabbed a sack full of tumbtacks and entered the ring as Show looked at him as Abyss threw all the tacks onto the canvas and challenged Show to face him again but Show left the ring with a smile but Abyss than picked up Rhino and nailed him with a Black Hole Slam right onto the Tumbtacks as Rhino rolled threw the ring in pain covered in tacks as Abyss also had tacks in him as he picked up his ECW Championship and pointed at Show as the show went off the air.
