Nitro has been taped prior before the SummerSlam PPV this upcoming Sunday, Nitro management apologize to all the fans around the world that the show couldn’t be aired live on national and international television, the reason of what made it happen that the show was taped couldn’t be said to the fans.
Show started off with Abyss coming out as Lollipop told the world that Abyss would make sure that Big Show would feel his wrath here tonight prior to SummerSlam, Heyman came out and made it known that Abyss was just a walking target as Big Show was and Lollipop addressed to that, that Heyman should watch his back as well because the monster Abyss won’t be stopped to whatever stands in his way.
Petey Williams defeated Shocker by pinfall in a non title match, Shocker had control in the early going but Team Canada members Young & Devine were at ringside and made it very difficult for Shocker to regain his control of the match after several distractions as Williams took control of the match and after Williams argued with the ref and Devine & Young beat down as poor Shocker on the outside it was Williams who eventually nailed the Canadian Destroyer on Shocker for the win, after the match Danielson & London ran to ringside and attacked the champion, Danielson made work of both Young & Devine as London let Williams pay big time and eventually finished him off with the Shooting Star Press and if the same happens this Sunday a new Light Weight champion could be crowned.
Backstage we saw a bloody Jerry Lynn as Paul Heyman wanted to know what happened as it became clear that Show totally destroyed Lynn in the backstage area as Heyman swore revenge on Show and that he would set up a ambush.
America’s Most Wanted defeated Jamie Noble & Kid Kash by pinfall, the former Tag Team champions completely overpowered there opponents and made it known that they could be in line for a 7th title reign after this Sunday, AMW isolated Noble and beat him down pretty bad but refused to finish him off, Noble was able to tag in Kash who got some offensive on Storm but after he missed a closeline on Storm it seemed all over as AMW double teamed Kash and nailed the Death Sentence on him but they weren’t finished as also Noble was up for the Death Sentence as AMW got themselves a easy win.
Backstage we see Big Show walking around with a huge smile on his face but soon it would be gone as he walked by as than from the dark Abyss attacked him from behind and slammed Show head first into a brick wall and than picked up Show and drilled him right threw a table with a Black Hole Slam but Abyss wasn’t done and grabbed a chair and continued his assault on Show slamming the chair numerous times on Show who was busted open as Abyss than put the chair around the ankle of Show as he stepped up a huge box and than jumped off him right onto the chair as Show screamed in pain as Abyss looked at the carnage he created as officials ran to them as Abyss walked off as they checked on Show who still screamed in pain.
Batista made a in ring interview as he said that he didn’t needed Evolution anymore, he said since the betrayal he changed into another man, he said that he woke up and that he could take care of anybody all by himself and it would begin this Sunday at SummerSlam and make Sabin the first man who will fall to the feet of the animal, he said that he was a 2 time World Heavyweight champion and that from now on he would make a journey back to the top of that mountain once again, he said he is champion material and has demonstrated that in his 12 month title reign, this brought out Chris Sabin who said that he couldn’t take it anymore hearing Batista saying how good he is and that he is so good since he had a title reign of 12 months, Sabin said that the only title Batista held was the World Title but Sabin built his way up to that mountain, he won the Light Weight championship and US Championship and now it was time with the guidance of Ric Flair to win the biggest price there is, he said that he would make Batista the first big name to defeat in his way to conquer his goals, Batista said that if Sabin was so confident by doesn’t he come down to ringside and see what he can bring to the table, Sabin said he didn’t needed to because next Sunday Batista would know that it should have been Sabin carrying the World Heavyweight Championship instead of Batista and if it wasn’t for Batista he would have carried it after Judgment Day.
We got word that Big Show was brought to a local hospital after that vicious beating of Abyss and the question is if he can make it to SummerSlam to compete in the House of Pain match for the ECW Championship, Stephanie McMahon wasn’t happy at all and addressed Heyman that he was also responsible of what happened earlier tonight, she said that he had the power to something about it but he didn’t and she said that she had the power to suspend Heyman for the time being concerning the co GM position as Heyman was furious and said that he would go to the board of directors as Stephanie said that he should do that because they allowed her to take over and that she doesn’t want any mistakes anymore and that Heyman should pray that Show makes it to Sunday.
AJ Styles defeated Booker T by pinfall, Booker made his debut and showed a strong side but AJ had his momentum after last week when he defeated Kurt Angle thanks to a assist of HHH, Booker showed why he was one of the last Intercontinental champions on RAW but a reborn AJ Styles fought back and took momentum after a stunning neckbreaker of the ropes, Styles also connected with a moonsault but Booker kicked out, Styles later on missed a dropkick as Booker held the ropes and than nailed Styles with a heel kick but Styles kicked out, Booker looked for the Bookend but Styles saw it coming and countered it with a double arm DDT, Styles to the top but Booker caught him in mid air and nailed a body press slam on him as Booker again looked for the Bookend but again Styles countered himself out of it and rolled Booker up who kicked out, Booker than missed a closeline as Styles connected with the Styles Clash to score another huge victory on Nitro as his momentum continued, could Styles soon make his way up the ladder as well?
Chris Daniels walked backstage as Edge came in his face as Edge said that Daniels was to focused on the TV Championship that he lost at Judgment Day but he shouldn’t worry that much because he wouldn’t get a shot that soon again as Edge said that he would make a challenge after SummerSlam for the TV Championship, Daniels told Edge that he had a big mouth and they would see who would face the TV champion after SummerSlam, Daniels further said that if Edge had the balls they could face off and see who could be the contender as Edge said he would accept such a match because he can beat anybody.
Michael Shane defeated Chris Masters by pinfall to retain the Television Championship, Shane wanted some competition before his clash on Sunday and boy did he got that, Masters dominated the champion with his size and overpowered Shane in the early going nailing him with a Pump Handle Slam and a Military Press but Shane refused to let him get pinned and fought back as a champion would do, Shane nailed a German suplex and followed that with a flying elbow on Masters but couldn’t get the pin, Masters found back control with a backbreaker and held Shane in several submissions but Shane refused to tap out, Masters eventually put Shane into the Master Lock and looked to become the new TV champion but Shane countered it when he tackled Masters and rolled him up but Masters kicked out, Masters nailed a massive closeline on Shane and wanted to lock him up again but Shane reversed it somehow and levelled Masters with a DDT as Shane awaited Masters to get back up and nailed him with Sweet Chin Music for the win and to retain the TV Championship.
Bill Goldberg defeated Kane by DQ in the main event, the Undertaker sat at the announcers table watching the match as Kane dominated Goldberg in the early going, Kane choked Goldberg several times as the ref counted for it, Kane send Goldberg into the ropes and closelined him down big time, Goldberg fought back and closelined Kane over the ropes to the outside but Kane landed on his feet as Paul Bearer instructed Kane who grabbed Goldberg by the feet and pulled him to the outside and gave Goldberg a serious beating on the outside and smashed Goldberg hard into the steel steps, Kane rolled Goldberg back in the ring to break the count and than brought him back to the outside and continued his assault as Paul Bearer laughed and than he distracted the ref as Kane choked Goldberg with some cables on the outside and than picked him up and slammed him back first into the ring post and rolled him back into the ring and made a cover but Goldberg kicked out, Kane slammed Goldberg hard into the corner and followed with a closeline, Kane than nailed a side walk slam on Goldberg and covered again but Goldberg kicked out, Kane send Goldberg into the ropes but Goldberg reversed it and than grabbed Kane and nailed him with a spinebuster as Goldberg than awaited Kane to turn around as Kane did and Goldberg looked for the spear but Kane nailed him with a big boot instead, Kane than grabbed Goldberg by the throat and nailed him with a Chokeslam but Goldberg somehow kicked out as Kane than wanted to finish Goldberg off but Goldberg escaped the Tombstone and speared Kane down as Taker stood up from behind the table as Goldberg pointed at Taker and than put Kane into the Jackhammer and connected it but Taker was already in the ring as Goldberg covered but Taker dropped a elbow on Goldberg as the ref called for the bell, Paul Bearer gave Taker the belt as Goldberg got back up as Taker clocked it right into the face of Goldberg and than awaited him to get back up and grabbed him by the throat as Kane was also back up and did the same as they nailed Goldberg with a double Chokeslam as the brothers from Hell stood before the fallen Goldberg as the show went off the air.
