The night started with Paul Heyman coming down with the Alliance and told the fans that this Sunday the Alliance would have the ECW Championship back, he said that they had 3 superstars who could do the job, last week they beat Abyss so badly that he would have seen his faith for SummerSlam where exactly the same would happen, this brought out Lollipop with the ECW champion Abyss, Lollipop said that last week Heyman made sure that they had all the advantage but before they will head for SummerSlam she has arranged a match between Abyss v Paul Heyman, Heyman laughed and he said he would never accept it but Lollipop said he wasn’t the acting general manager anymore as Heyman looked afraid, she said that Stephanie have agreed to do that match and if any ECW Alliance member would interfere they would all get suspended and than your superstars would not make it to SummerSlam after all as she laughed as Heyman was pissed off.
AJ Styles defeated Randy Orton by pinfall in the opening match of the evening, Styles continued his strong run since being back on the road and also Orton fell victim to the Styles Clash for the win, Orton got enough offensive in the match but Styles took the beating but fought back and just when Orton thought he would have won the match he made the mistake to give Styles enough time to get back in the match as Orton was countered out of the RKO as Styles than switched it into the Styles Clash for another impressive victory, could Styles be in line for a Championship shot or will Orton challenge him for another match.
Backstage Heyman was concerned about his match against Abyss as RVD said that they couldn’t do anything for him because they were barred from ringside and they could lose there shots at the Championship, Heyman said he knew that and he needed to make a phone call and hopefully this man could help him out even with the fact that they can’t stand each other.
Edge made his way to ringside and he said that last week he got screwed by Chris Daniels because he had won the match but in the end it was Daniels who walked out as winner, he said he wanted another shot against Daniels because he could beat him whenever he wanted to beat him and he called out Daniels, Daniels made his way to ringside and he said that Edge was a cry baby and couldn’t accept it that he lost against a better wrestler and why would he give him another opportunity of facing him, Edge said that Daniels was just scared because this time he would lose and he knew that, Daniels said that Edge was making a joke because he is a joke, he than asked Edge what he accomplished as singles wrestler, has he ever won a major Championship back on RAW outside the Tag Team Championship, Edge became furious and said that Daniels hadn’t won that much either , Daniels reminded Edge of the fact that he was a 2 time Light Weight champion but also a 2 time United States champion and he has fought twice for the World Heavyweight Championship and if he remembered correctly Edge never have been in that position as Edge thought about it and than hit Daniels hard into the face and kicked him into the midsection and than speared him down as Edge than looked on Daniels with a smile on his face.
The Undertaker defeated Charlie Haas by pinfall in a non title match, Taker dominated the complete match as Haas tried to get some offence in but the deadman was just to much for him, Taker nailed him with all his big moves and after he nailed a devastating Chokeslam he finished him off with a Tombstone Piledriver, after the match Goldberg walked to ringside as Paul Bearer took a mic and he invited Goldberg into the ring so that his Undertaker could finish it tonight and not at SummerSlam as Goldberg stepped on the apron as Taker awaited him but Kane came from behind and pulled Goldberg off the apron and slammed him hard into the steel steps as Bearer gave Taker a chair as Kane rolled Goldberg into the ring as Taker awaited Goldberg to get back up and than clocked him right between the eyes as Goldberg was busted open as Kane entered the ring as well as they than double Chokeslammed Goldberg onto the chair.
HHH was in the ring as he said that this Sunday he would finally get back what he deserves and that’s a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, he would teach Angle a lesson only he could do, he said he accomplished more than any other superstar alive, he is a 10 time World champion, he won the Intercontinental Championship on numberous occasions, he won the European Championship, has been Tag Team champions, won the Royal Rumble and won the King of the Ring, I have beaten every superstar that there is to beat and yes Kurt I even beat you several times, this Sunday he would be on his road for his 11th World Championship, he is the best sports entertainer in the world and it’s time to play his game once again.
Bobby Roode defeated Jerry Lynn by pinfall, Lynn gave Roode a hard fight since Lynn as a member of the ECW Alliance used enough tricks of the extreme but Roode was to powerful for Lynn and after he nailed a huge pump handle slam he finished him off with the Northern Lariat for the win, after the match he continued to beat down Lynn as Jericho ran to ringside but Roode left the ring and smiled at Jericho as Jericho pointed at Roode that he would get beaten this Sunday.
John Cena walked backstage as he passed by Ric Flair and Chris Sabin as Sabin laughed and asked what Cena was doing here as Cena looked at him and came into his face and said he could whip his ass whenever he wanted as Sabin said he could always bring it, Flair than came in between and said to cool it down, they had bigger things to take care off, Cena said that he respected Flair for what he did and it would always be a plessure of stepping in the ring with him, Flair looked at him and said that at RAW he accomplished something but he remembered his Smackdown time as well, he has made a step forward and is also a former World champion but Flair said he would do what he does best whenever he decides to do that as he smiled a little as they walked off as Cena looked to them.
In the main event Abyss defeated Paul Heyman under Extreme Rules after he finished him off with a Black Hole Slam right threw a table, in the beginning Heyman had a chair and slammed him several times on the ECW champion but it didn’t seem to help as Abyss grabbed Heyman and tossed him into the corner and nailed a huge closeline, Abyss than slammed the chair onto the back of Heyman, he gave Heyman such a beating that Heyman screamed to give it up but Abyss continued his assault and Chokeslammed Heyman onto some garbage cans before he finished him off with the Black Hole Slam, after the match the 500 pound Big Show got himself to the ring and slammed Abyss down with a chair but Abyss got back up and fought back and eventually closelined the big monster over the ropes to the outside but Abyss went after him as they battled up the ramp but the Alliance also joined in and beat down Abyss as Show than stood onto the ramp and looked down as he grabbed Abyss by the throat and chokeslammed him down right threw the tables underneath as he looked on with a smile as the show went off the air.
