Discuss this post this hundreds of fantasy fans!Next week Nitro will return in the build up to the Royal Rumble PPV which will be held on Sunday January 28 inside the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas. Concerning the Royal Rumble it has been made official that 3 matches have already been signed for this big event kicking off 2007.
Before Santa’s Invasion Shawn Michaels superkicked his partner Chris Jericho ending there friendship after a bitter loss against Team Canada, at the Rumble both will square it off in a singles match, can Jericho find some revenge on Michaels or will Michaels again put Jericho in his place.
After nailing GM Stephanie McMahon with a Pedigree his life has become Hell, at Santa’s Invasion he lost a No Holds Barred match against a enraged Kane who took care of the Game in a bloody way but it will not end for HHH as Stephanie McMahon booked him in a Qualifying match against the Big Show to enter the Royal Rumble and if the Game is successful he will start the Rumble as number 1.
But the biggest announcement was yet to make, GM McMahon made it official that the Royal Rumble match himself will be for the World Heavyweight Championship, this means the Undertaker will defend the title against 29 other superstars, with that being said it was also known that the Undertaker has gotten number 15 in the Rumble match, the Alamo Dome is already sold out for the biggest World Heavyweight Championship match in history of this industry, can the Undertaker held on his title and go to WrestleMania champion or will someone else take up the opportunity and walk away with the World Heavyweight Championship.
The superstars that are already qualified for the Royal Rumble Match are the following: The Undertaker, Abyss, Kane, Batista, Chris Sabin, Rob van Dam, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Rhino, Edge, Chris Daniels, Michael Shane, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Bill Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, AJ Styles, Booker T, John Cena, Bobby Roode, Christian, Chris Masters, Lashley and Randy Orton.
25 superstars are already been selected for the Rumble Match and this leaves 5 open spots with one going to HHH if he wins his qualifying match, the other 4 spots will be decided in 4 matches in upcoming Nitro shows before the Rumble.
Next week Nitro will come from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and the show will feature the next matches:
Kane has taken his opportunity of becoming the ECW champion and he will take on ECW champion Abyss next week live on Nitro in an Extreme Rules Match.
Bobby Roode takes on Chris Jericho in singles competition.
Newly crowned Tag Team champions MNM take on AMW in a re-match for the World Tag Team Championship.
Edge will hold a Cutting Edge with TV champion Christopher Daniels.
The Undertaker will defend his World Heavyweight Championship as well on the first show in 2007 against Chris Benoit.
