The night starts off with a young man with tattoos and piercings all over and he has a mic. He says that he has come to Nitro for one reason, and one reason only, to be the most Extreme Superstar EVER. Paul Heyman then comes out and says that the only extreme people on Nitro are in the Alliance. Paul Bearer then comes out and says that The Undertaker is the most extreme, being the ECW Champion. Heyman gets up in Bearer’s face and The kid in the ring says that this is his time. Heyman looks at the kid and asks him his name. He says his name is CM Punk, and he’ll face anyone they throw at him. Heyman laughs and says that later tonight,
Back from the commercial and a promo shows of last week. We are informed that as Triple H came into the arena tonight, he was handcuffed and locked in Stephanie McMahon’s room with security guards. We are taken to the back and Stephanie is in the back with Triple H. She is yelling at him and then tells him that tonight, in the main event, he will be getting a World Heavyweight Title shot. She said that however, there is a stipulation. It will be No Holds Barred, which means Triple H can use his sledgehammer. She then tells Triple H he can go. Triple H asks for his handcuffs to be removed and Stephanie laughs, saying that that is the stipulation, Triple H must remain handcuff. Triple H lunged for Steph, but the security held him back and took him to his room. Steph then tells two security guards to go find Jericho as we go to commercial.
Back from the commercial and Jericho is walking into Shane/Stephanie’s office. He comes in with a smile and asks what is up. Shane says that tonight is Jericho’s lucky night. He said that tonight, he gets the chance to get the number one contendership to the Heavyweight Title. He said that all he needs to do is beat The Great Khali in a match. Jericho’s smile is completely gone and he is pissed. He starts to yell at Shane but the security guards pull him away. We go back to the ring and Michael Shane is in the ring. Chris Daniels comes out and we are about to have our first match of the night, Michael Shane vs. Chris Daniels 3! They shake hands before the ring bell but Michael pulls Daniels into a knee in the gut. He then clotheslines him back and then picks him back up and clotheslines him down again and goes to pull him back up as Cena comes down to the ring. He looks as if he’s gonna get in the ring, but backs back goes over to time keeper’s table to watch the match. Back in the ring Michael Shane is yelling at Cena and turns around into a dropkick. They get up at same time and Daniels hits a hiptoss and then a legdrop. He goes for another but Shane moves and gets a missile dropkick into the back of Chris’s head. He then goes for a reverse headlock but Chris gets up and backdrops Shane. He then drops a leg onto Shane and goes to the top rope. He goes for a moonsault but Shane gets his knees up but Daniels stops himself and hits a short legdrop and then puts Shane in a reverse chinlock as we go to a commercial.
Back from the commercial and Michael Shane suplexes Daniels through the announcer’s table! He then falls back in exhaustion and the ref starts the count. 1…2…3…Shane gets up…4…5…He rolls Daniels back into the ring. He goes for the pin and gets a 2. He then sets up sweet chin music but Daniels ducks and hits a spinning heel kick. He then goes up top and gets a monnsault. He goes for the pin and gets a 2. He then picks up Shane and sets up the angel’s wings but Shane falls down and rolls him up for a 2! They both get up and Daniels sets up Shane for the angel’s wings but Shane pushes him off and Daniels turns around into sweet chin music!!! Shane goes for the pin…1…2………..NO! NO NO NO NO NO! Daniels barley kicks out and the crowd is erupting!!! Shane couldn’t be more surprised! He sets Daniels up for sweet chin music and goes to hit it but Daniels ducks down and throws Shane over! He goes outside to pick him up but Shane hits him with a surprise sweet chin music! Shane then goes for a suplex onto the guard rail but Daniels reverses and get’s the angel’s wings!! Both are down as the ref starts his count! 1…2…3…4…neither man is stirring…5…6…7…Shane starts to move but Daniels jumps up and clocks him with a superkick of his own! 8…9…Daniels cant it make it! 10! Neither man makes it by the count of ten and so therefore Michael Shane retains his title! Daniels is mad and grabs the title. He goes to hit Michael with it but Cena grabs it and hits Daniels with it. He then holds it up and throws it onto Michael and then walks out.
Back from the commercial and Chris Jericho is in the ring with a chair. Khali’s music hits and Khali walks out to the ring. The bell dings and Jericho backs up with the chair. Shawn Michaels then appears in the audience and runs into the ring and grabs the chair from Jericho. Jericho goes to leave the ring but Khali gets him and beats him down . He gets him with blows to the back, headbutts, and chops. This continues until Jericho is bloody and then He chokeslams Jericho out of the ring. Michaels rolls him back in and Khali powerbombs Jericho into the corner. Jericho’s neck snaps back and he lays motionless on the mat as Khali covers for the 1..2…3! Khali then yells and leaves the ring. Michaels then goes to the top rope and hits a HUGE elbow drop. He stands above Jericho and yells at him. He then grabs a mic and says that he wants Jericho at Invasion. He throws the mic down and poses for the crowd as we go to a commercial.
We’re back and Nash is in the ring, saying that he will be facing Gregory Helms tonight. Helms comes down and goes right at Nash but Nash big boots him and hits him with a quickpowerbomb and then leaves the ring. He walks to the back backwards posing and then Goldberg comes out and spears him in the back. He stands up and then goes into the ring to check on Helms! Interesting…
In the back, Stephanie is in her office and a security guard runs in and says that Steph needs to see this. Steph and the security guard run to Triple H’s room where another guard is bloody on the ground and handcuffed to a desk. She asks where Triple H is and the guard doesn’t respond. She turns around and The guard takes off his hat and rips off his goatee and…ITS TRIPLE H! Steph backs up scared and Triple H closes the door as we go to a commercial break.
We’re back and Batista is in the ring. Out come Scott Steiner and he tells Batista that he doesn’t realize what he’s done. They lock up and go back and forth until Batista hiptosses Steiner outside the ring and Steiner grabs a chair and comes into the ring with it. He is about to lay out Batista in the corner with it until Nash gets Steiner in the back with a chair. Goldberg then runs out and Batista takes him on. Nash then jackknife powerbombs Steiner over the top as Batista and Nash go to double team Goldberg but Bill hits a double spear. He then rips off his shirt and grabs the chair and lays out Batista with it and Nash moves out of the way and Batista and Nash walk up the entrance ramp.
Back from the commercial and Triple H is in the parking lot walking to his car as Maria tries to get his words on everyhitng tonight and he turns around, grabs her mic and tells her to “%&^*” off! She looks shocked and he enters his car and drives off. Cameras then go back to his locker room as the paramedics are there putting a bloodied, nonresponsive Stephanie McMahon onto a stretcher. She is wheeled out of the arena on a steretcher and Paul Heyman appears. He says that he knows exactly how She would have wanted it, and next up, in the main event, it will be Undertaker defending his title against Rob Van Dam Mr. Mon….Andy Stevens then shows up and tells Paul to move aside. He said that tonight, Triple H has ruined his GM and then ran. He said that tonight’s main event will actually be Abyss taking on Chris Sabin in an extreme rules match. The winner gets to face Undertaker at Judgment Day for the ECW Title. He then said that Triple H is suspended until Judgment Day. If Triple H touches anyone between now and then, he will be fired. And if anyone EVER touches his GM again, they’ll be fired faster than they can say sorry.
Back from the commercial and Abyss is in the ring and Sabin is walking out. He gets in the ring and Abyss runs right towards him and he moves and Abyss lands in the corner and Sabin lands a few big hands but Abyss throws him back and Sabin runs towards him but Abyss hits an early Black Hole Slam! He then grabs a bag and spreads, yep, you know it, thumbtacks all over! He picks up Sabin and tries to throw him on them but Sabin turns it into a face plant and they both land in the tacks! They roll around and get out of them but Abyss hits a big boot and then throws Sabin into them again. He then goes out and gets a table and sets it up on the tacks. He then goes to powerbomb Sabin through the table but Sabin reverses it into a DDT through the table! He goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count! Ric Flair then comes out and goes at Sabin but Sabin backdrops him…INTO THE THUMBTACKS! Flair rolls around screaming, his back a bloody mess. Sabin then goes to the top rope and goes down to Abyss but Abyss catches him and hits a huge black hole slam onto the tacks and then goes for the pin…1…2…3! Abyss is still facing Taker at Invasion! All the lights then go out as lightning strikes the stage and a casket appears. It opens up to reveal Abyss and then it blows up! The Abyss that appeared is then burning!!! Abyss is in the ring and seems to be awestricken by this. The lights come back on and The Undertaker is behind Abyss! He starts to beat on Abyss in the corner and Sabin joins him but Triple H then appears and attacks Sabin! He then pulls off Taker and beats them both until Taker throws him over the top rope and him and Sabin go back after Abyss. Taker then lifts Abyss up for the chokeslam when Triple H knocks him out with the sledgehammer. HE then hits Sabin with it also and gets the pedigree on Sabin! Security guards then run down to the ring but Triple H has sledgy and the security guards are afraid and then Abyss stands up and the guards all back away as the show goes off the air but Abyss & Triple H standing over a bloody Chris Sabin!
