Discuss this post this hundreds of fantasy fans!Hello Tonight Folks! One night after Judgment Day and what a show we have! The night starts off with GM Stephanie McMahon in the ring. She said that last night, history was made. She said that last night had some blockbuster matches. She said that also, last night, the ECW Title changed hands. She then said that next week, there will be a tri-main event. First, Will be Michael Shane defending his Television Title against John Cena, Kane, Edge, Rhyno, and Rob Van Dam in a 6-man Cage match! She then said that she will come back to that later. She said that last night, Kurt Angle and Chris Sabin fought to a double countout, resulting in No Number One Contender. She said that she has received requests from both for a rematch, but she’s not going to do that. She said that instead, there will be a Tournament to determine who will face the Heavyweight Champion at Summerslam. She then said that tonight, will be the first 6 first-round matches. She then said to go back to next week’s second main event, it will be Kurt Angle taking on Chris Sabin in a best two out of three falls match. She said that in the main event, it will be The Undertaker vs. Abyss 3 for the ECW Championship. She then said that that match will be contested under ECW Rules, but there’s a twist. There will be barbed wire replacing the ropes. She said that this will be the most dangerous match in the history of this business. She said that that is next week, and we will now begin our tournament matches now! Chris Sabin’s music hits as we go to a commercial break.
We’re back and Sabin is in the ring awaiting his opponent. Chris Benoit’s music hits and Sabin looks intimidated. Benoit enters the ring and stands on a turnbuckle posing to the crowd when Sabin attacks him and the bell dings. He clubs him in the back and then brings him down and tries for a chop in the corner but Benoit ducks and gets Sabin in the corner and hits a chop. The crowd WOO’s and Benoit hits another chop. He throws him to the opposite corner and hits another chop and then throws him to the ropes and Sabin comes back and Benoit knocks him down with a knife edge chop. He picks him up and hits another knife edge chop and the crowd is heavily cheering Benoit. He then picks up Sabin and goes for a german suplex but Sabin lands on his feet and hits a vicious kick to the back of Benoit’s head and Benoit goes down. Sabin then stomps away at Benoit and then drops an elbow. He then goes to the top turnbuckle and tries to come down with a legdrop and Benoit counters with a clothesline in the air! Sabin lands hard on his head and Benoit picks him up and hits a german suplex. He hits a second one! He then hits a third! He then starts clubbin him in the back and hits three more! He then signals for the end and goes to the top rope. He comes down for the headbutt but Sabin gets his feet up and hit Benoit right in the face! Their both down as Sabin slowly gets up and so does Benoit and Sabin hits a dropkick and then goes to the top rope and goes back with a moonsault into a pin for a 2 count. He then goes to the corner and waits for Benoit to turn around and Sabin then runs towards him but Benoit ducks and hits a drop toe hold and goes for the sharpshooter. Sabin pushes off, and then Benoit tries again but Sabin rolls him up in a small package for a 2 count. Benoit then hits some more chops and a german suplex and then signals for the end again. He goes to the top, but Sabin comes up behind him and brings him down with a HUGE powerbomb. He falls on top of him and gets a 2 count. HE then jumps up on the top turnbuckle and comes down with a legdrop. He then goes for another cover and gets a 2 count. He then picks up Benoit and gets him up on his shoulders but Benoit rolls off and get Sabin locked in the crippler crossface!!! Sabin is in the middle of the ring and has no where to go! HE almost taps but instead rolls over backwards but Benoit still has it locked in! Sabin’s foot is on the rope but the referee doesn’t see! Sabin taps! The bell dings and Benoit is the winner! Sabin then complains to the referee as we go to a commercial break.
We come back and see footage of what just happened before the commercial break, with Sabin’s foot on the rope. The referee then grabs a mic and says that due to Sabin’s foot on the rope, this match wil be restarted. The bell dings and Benoit is arguing with the ref when Sabin comes up behind him and rolls him up and gets the 3 count!!! The bell sounds again and Sabin is now advancing in the tournament! Sabin goes to the top rope and poses but Benoit is pissed and hits a german suplex off the top rope! Sabin is laid out in the middle of the ring.
WE go to the back and Steph is in her office. Jericho walks in and says that she looks very nice. She thanks him, and tells him that every episode of Nitro , he is always in her room. He laughs and says that he just can’t get enough of her and asks her out on a date. She says that if he wins his tournament qualifier match next week on the beginning of Nitro, then she will go out on a date with him after the show. He smiles and thanks her and goes to leave but Shawn Michaels comes in. Jericho smiles and says that Michaels did good last night, but not good enough. Michaels pushes Jericho aside and tells Steph that he wants to make sure he’s in the tournament. She looked at Jericho and then back at Michaels, saying that after last night’s performance she wasn’t going to put him in, but she will give him a second chance, and he will be wrestling later tonight. He thanks her and walks out. Jericho then walks out behind him.
We’re back in the ring with the Honour Society and they looked pumped as they defend their tag team titles against MNM. MNM’s music hits. Only Nitro comes out and he looks confused. He is looking around the main entrance and then comes down to the ring and talks to the announcer and ref. The announcer then announces that if anyone has seen Mercury to please send him to the ring. Nitro then gets in the ring and it looks like he will be facing Cade & Jindrak himself until Mercury comes to the ring. The bell dings and Nitro goes right at Cade with kicks and punches. He then DDT’s him and then scissor kicks Jindrak off the apron. He then goes for the quick cover on Cade and gets a 1 count. He then hits Cade with a dropkick as he’s getting up. He then hits another DDT and dropkicks Jindrak as he is getting back up on the apron. He then picks up Cade and hits a vertical suplex. He then throws him in the corner and hits him with a dropkick. He then goes for another cover and only gets a 2 count. Matt and Jeff Hardy then come down to the ring and set up two chairs by the announce table. They are watching the match and Nitro is yelling at them to leave. He turns around and Cade hits him with an enziguri. Cade then tags in Jindrak and Jindrak hits Nitro with a powerslam. He then throws Nitro into the ropes and hits a huge clothesline for a 2 count. He then tags in Cade and they hit Nitro with a double team suplex. Cade then went for the cover but only got a 2 count. Jindrak then came off the top rope with a body splash but missed and Cade went for Nitro but Nitro rolled through and tried for a schoolboyrolluppin but only got a two count and turned into a big boot from Jindrak and then a pin and a win! Jindrak and Cade have retained their titles against Nitro, but where’s Mercury?
We’re back from the commercial and Kurt Angle is in the ring. Next out is Rhyno and he runs straight for Angle as the bell dings and Angle ducks and hits Rhyno with and angleslam and then locks him in the ankle lock and Rhyno taps!!! Rhyno taps out in less than thirty seconds as Angle advances in the tournament! Angle then poses after the match and leaves as we’re taken to the backstage area where Rob Van Dam is talking to Heyman about how he is in the tournament and won’t need to use MITB because he’ll be winning the tournament. Heyman laughs and says that RVD will be the next Heavyweight Champion. Rhyno then walks up to them pissed and asks them where they were. They said that they were back here talking and Rhyno pushes by, mad.
In the ring, Kane is awaiting his opponent. Mike Awesome comes out with RVD and Paul Heyman. Awesome goes in the ring and Heyman comes in also. Heyman slaps Kane and runs away. Kane chases him and Awesome attacks him from behind. RVD then comes in the ring as the bell dings and the ref tries to get him to leave. As he is reasoning with him, Awesome hits Kane with a chair. RVD then leaves and Awesome gets a 2 count. Awesome then gets Kane up for the awesomebomb. RVD then comes off the top rope with a kick to Kane and the ref tells him to leave. Awesome covers and gets a two count. He then drops an elbow and then a leg. He then tries to reason with the ref as RVD hits Kane with a 5starfrogsplash. HE then covers Kane and once again gets a 2 count when Heyman slides a table into the ring. Awesome sets it up and then Kane attacks Awesome. HE sets him up for the chokeslam through the table but RVD comes up behind him and hits him with a chair. The ref then calls for the DQ and Awesome hits Kane with an awesomebomb through the table. RVD then this Kane with a 5starfrogsplash.
Back from the commercial break and Big Show is in the ring. Michael Shane comes out and this is our fourth tournament match. The bell dings and Big Show hits Shane with a big boot and a legdrop and gets a quick 2 count. He then throws him in the corner and hits him with chops and a clothesline. He then picks him up over his head and powerslams him down onto the mat. He then picks Shane up and throws him into the corner and tries for a splash but Michael moves and Show hits his back hard and falls to one knee and Shane hits him with sweet chin music and Big Show goes down and Shane covers for the win! Michael Shane moves on in the tournament. Michael Shane walks out and Big Show looks mad.
Back from the commercial break and RVD is in the ring with Paul Heyman, Mike Awesome, Jerry Lynn, and Raven. RVD is awaiting his opponent as Shawn Michaels’s music hits!!! No one comes out and the Alliance is wondering where he is. Finally, a bloody and battered Michaels staggers out to the entrance ramp. He turns around and receives a GORE from Rhyno. Rhyno then rolls Michaels down to the ring and rolls him in the ring. The ref makes The Alliance leave the ring and the bell dings and RVD covers for a 2 count. HBK is really out of it and RVD kicks him in the head. HBK is limp and RVD covers him again for another 2 count. He then goes to the top rope for a frog splash but HBK moves and RVD this the ring hard. He gets up and goes for HBK but HBK rolls him up for a 2 count and the RVD comes back with a kick to the face and HBK moves and jumps up and hits sweet chin music!! He falls on top of RVD but RVD kicks out at two as The lights all go out. They stay out for a while, until they come back on and The Alliance is bloody and battered and knocked out on the entrance ramp. In the ring is a knocked out ref, a bloody HBK, and a confused RVD he slowly backs up…INTO THE UNDERTAKER!!! He turns around and receives a HUGE chokeslam from the Undertaker. Taker then puts HBK on RVD and wakes up the ref. The ref makes the slow three count as HBK moves on in the tournament and Taker leaves with his hand raised in the air.
