Discuss this post this hundreds of fantasy fans!Welcome Back fans as Dylan Burley brings you another episode of NITRO!! The show starts off with Samoa Joe in the ring. He is in street clothes, and has a microphone. He says that last week, Orton lost to an old geezer. He said that Orton didn’t show shit, and that this is going to be a clean sweep at Havoc. He then said that tonight, Stephanie has put him in a match, but he doesn’t feel like wrestling in it. He said that he knows he’ll beat hi opponent already, so there’s no point to it. Stephanie came out and said that this has never happened. Never has she EVER had a superstar refuse to wrestle. But if he insists on having a tougher opponent, she’ll give him a huge opportunity. She said that instead, tonight, he will face Triple H. The winner will be entered into the Elimination Chamber for the RSM Heavyweight Championship. Joe smiled. He liked her thinking, but then Triple H came out behind Stephanie. He grabbed her mic, and told Samoa Joe to make sure he’s ready tonight. Because he’s just entered The Game.
After the commercial, we had a tag team battle royale, but the rules were different. There would be thirty men, and the last two remaining would team up and face the Hardy Boyz next week for the tag team titles. The match had most of the lower card superstars, and actually lasted a decent time. The final four was down to Austin Aries, Greg Helms, Joey Mercury, and Johnny Nitro. Nitro and Mercury fought while Aries and Helms watched. Nitro about had Mercury over but Aries and Helms took after Nitro. Mercury slid out of his grasp, but threw Aries and Helms over! Mercury then was pissed as the bell rang and Nitro looked stunned. He stood up and they stared at each other as they were announced the winners. Looks like we’ll be having an MNM reunion!!!
Next up was Michael Shane taking on Edge in a non-title match. Edge took control early, hitting a hard hip toss over the top onto the floor. Shane then got control back after sweet chin music from absolutely no where. They both got up and Edge missed a spear and Shane was able to roll him up for the 3 and escape. Edge was pissed and threw stuff.
After that, Rob Van Dam and Paul Heyman took on former enemies, Sabu & CM Punk. Before the match, they had a staredown, but shook hands. RVD then tried to shake hands with Sabu, but Sabu turned his back. RVD took most of the punishment in this one, with Sabu & Punk making quick tags and hard-hitting moves. The ending came when Van Dam hit Punk with a low blow and was gonna tag in Heyman but Punk was able to get to Sabu and Sabu hit Heyman with a dropkick and then threw him into the corner and Punk hit a pepsiplunge. Sabu then hit a legdrop and got the 123 as Punk kicked Van Dam. After the match, Punk & Sabu double teamed Van Dam, but then Sabu turned and attacked Punk. Punk was able to reverse, however, and escape the ring just before Sabu was about to hit him with a chair.
We are then shown backstage where Stephanie McMahon is with Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury. They are complaining about tagging next week, but she said they need to quit their bitchin. Chris Jericho then walks in and says that he requests a shot at getting into the Elimination Chamber. Stephanie said she is tired of his bickering, so she’s giving him one last chance. She said next week will be a Last Chance Dumpster Match, if Jericho doesn’t win, he never gets another title shot again EVER. He asked who his opponent would be and she said he’d find that out next week. He hung his head and then threw stuff, angered. She told them all to leave. The Great Khali then walked in, talking in Punjab or something. She said he needs to get a damn translator. He looks puzzled, but she told him to go watch the Triple H/Samoa Joe match to make sure Triple H doesn’t win. He yells something in like, Punjab or Spanish or something and walks away.
In the main event, we saw Triple H take on Samoa Joe. This was actually the best match that has taken place in a while. There was a lot of back-and-forth action in which Khali got a lot of cheap shots in on Triple H. Stephanie told the ref the only way Triple H could win was to make Joe tap out or to pin him, but Joe could beat him anyway. The end came when Triple H grabbed a chair and tried to hit Joe but accidentally hit the ref. He then hit Khali with it and hit Joe with a pedigree. He went for the pin, but the ref was out. Khali then went into the ring and attack Triple H. The other ref then came out, and kicked Khali out!! Khali then knocked out the ref and attacked Triple H. He opened him up and Joe hit Triple H with a belly to belly suplex. Khali then hits him with a chop and both men are down now. Another ref comes out and Khali picks up Triple H but Trips kicks Khali in the groin and falls down on Joe and gets a 2 count but picks up his head!! Everyone is stunned and Triple H stands up and flips his hair back, showing a crimson mask of blood. He then picks up Joe and kicked him in the stomach as a ref came out. He hit him with a pedigree and covered him for the 123 . Stephanie then came out and was pissed. She went in the ring and ordered Khali to beat up Joe. Khali beat the holy hell out of Joe, but Triple H intervened and beat up Khali with a sledgehammer. HE then threatened to hit Steph, but instead LANDED A HUGE KISS ON HER!! She screamed and went to slap him but he ducked and she hit Khali. Khali is pissed now and picks her up, choking her and Trips hits him in the groin with the sledge and then the head, knocking Khali out. Triple H lays the sledge in front of Steph and walks out. The show ends with Joe and Khali in the ring, bloody messes while Steph stares at the sledgehammer and then Triple H.
