Nick Hogan Given Early Release From Probation

Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea was granted an early release from his five-year probation given to him in 2008, stemming from the John Graziano car wreck in August 2007. Bollea was granted the release by Judge Philip Federico a year before his sentence was due. He won’t be having any felony charges on his record from the incident.

“If he’s done everything, I think it’s important we be consistent,” Judge Phillip Federico said. Bollea completed 80% of his probation, with around 500 hours of community service. Federico noted that the early release is not unusual for people who have completed as much of their probation as Bollea has.

Bollea, who is currently living in California, was denied a request to end his probation early, stating he violated the spirit of the sentence when he got a driver’s license in California.

Bollea’s attorney, Kevin Hayslett, called him after the court hearing to let him know that he’s now a free man as he was not present.

“He said he is elated to finally be off probation,” Hayslett said. “He said it’s been a long four years and he said words can’t describe how he feels. And he also wanted me to let you all know that John Graziano continues to be in his heart and in his mind.”
