– On February 23, 2002, Ring of Honor hosted its first event in Philadelphia, PA, titled The Era of Honor Begins, with the slogan, “We Don’t Imitate, We Innovate”. It featured names such as Eddie Guerrero, Bryan Danielson, Low-Ki, Christopher Daniels, Homicide, Super Crazy, The Amazing Red, The Briscoes and many more.

12 years later, and after a historic weekend which saw them announce the much talked about crossover with New Japan Pro Wrestling and host the 12th Anniversary Show, ROH continues going strong, having grown from an independent promotion to a regional promotion with a television show that is broadcast weekly on over 80 networks across 31 States, and is available worldwide at ROHWrestling.com.

From everyone at PWMania.com, we’d like to wish Ring of Honor a happy 12th birthday.
