- Randy Orton defeated Christian at SummerSlam to capture his third World Heavyweight championship. While there had been some internal discussion about extending the Orton-Christian feud for at least another month, WWE was promoting last night’s Orton vs. Christian match as the “final encounter” between the two men during the SummerSlam pre-game show.

- Gail Kim tweeted the following on Sunday night, teasing that we haven’t seen the last of her:

“4 every1 asking once again I’m still on mini vaca(meaning don’t work 4 the i-wont-acknowledge there’s-any competition) but have some upcoming appearances and have a few projects on the table. So like I said b4 this won’t be the last u see of me. Just be patient :) ull be seeing a lot of me in this next coming year!”

As previously reported, Gail Kim also tweeted on Sunday that she does not respect her boss, presumably a jab at Vince McMahon.

- Former WWE executive Shane McMahon attended a benefit art show in New York City last Thursday night to raise funds for Aidanhasaposse.org, a charity helps 6-year old Aiden Seeger, who suffers from a brain disorder.
