- Derrick Bateman and Mason Ryan returned to in-ring action at Thursday’s WWE NXT tapings. Bateman teamed up with Alex Riley as part of the NXT Tag Team Championship Tournament, while Ryan faced off against Sakamoto.

- Also at Thursday’s tapings, Alberto Del Rio was announced to appear at the Full Sail tapings on January 31st, 2013.
