As PWMania.com reported, former TNA star AJ Styles won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in Fokoka, Japan on May 3, 2014. Styles became the first American wrestler to win the title since Brock Lesnar did so back in 2005.

Check out these photos featuring AJ Styles’ title win, and pictured with him are members of his New Japan Pro Wrestling stable, The Bullet Club:

Mad congrats to the Phenomenal One on his victory and becoming the 60th IWGP Heavyweight Champion! The fact that Styles not only has the gold, but also the Bullet Club with him, makes his stock increase up to eleven.

That being said, I get a chuckle or two at the number of haters who crapped on the man when he was in TNA but all of a sudden began singing praises after he left.

    Hypocrites much?
