Plans For WWE Vengeance PPV, WWE In China, WWE In Asia

- WWE’s next pay-per-view event Vengeance is just weeks away on Sunday 10/23 – and WWE is planning to use next week’s RAW and SmackDown to do the major set up for the event.

WWE will be in Mexico for the RAW and SmackDown tapings the week before Vengeance and those shows are being looked at as “special” international TV tapings and not the usual “go-home” shows before a PPV.

Both RAW and SmackDown talent are expected to appear on both shows heading into Vengeance.

– As WWE heads to Asia in the coming months for a live tour, the company is looking to run live events in China, but the government approval process is very strict.

UFC has had similar difficulties dealing with Chinese authorities and expecting to finally hold an event from China in 2012.
