- There was a power outage at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York which caused a delay right before the start of the WWE Battleground main event. The power to the arena, and the pay-per-view feeds came back after a few minutes and the announcers acknowledged the outage.

– During the main event, we saw the return of WWE referee Scott Armstrong. Armstrong was fired last month by Triple H for his fast count during the Night Of Champions pay-per-view.

– The Battleground WWE Championship match ended in a no contest, due to The Big Show’s interference. Show ended up knocking out both Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton, leaving us with no winner and no WWE Champion. Look for Triple H to punish Big Show on RAW Monday, and announce that the WWE Championship will be decided at the next pay-per-view Hell In A Cell.
