Randy Orton Returns On Raw, New SummerSlam Match, Vince McMahon Set For SmackDown
- Randy Orton made his return to WWE on this week’s edition of Raw following his 60-day suspension on May 30, 2012 for his second documented violation of the WWE Wellness Policy.
Orton received a huge pop from the fans and squashed Health Slater with the RKO. Slater called out a current superstar to an “open challenge,” which set up Orton’s surprise return.
- During this week’s episode of Raw, it was announced that World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus would defend his title against Alberto Del Rio at SummerSlam.
- WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon will be appearing on this Friday night’s edition of Smackdown to officially name the new General Manager. Randy Orton who made his return on Raw is also scheduled for the show.
