Randy Orton Talks Being A Heel Champion & Friday’s WWE SmackDown Social Media Score

– The Detroit News recently interviewed WWE Champion Randy Orton to promote this Sunday’s Night Of Champions pay-per-view in the city. Orton talked about being a heel champion, helping pick up the slack in WWE in John Cena’s absence and more. You can check that interview out online at DetroitNews.com. Here is a quote from the interview:

“As a heel, I’m just better versed,” says Orton. “I don’t know, it just comes more natural. I have no problem whatsoever with people booing me and hating me and (putting their) thumbs down. That just gives me goosebumps. When you get that crowd roaring because they despise you so, that’s a great feeling.”

– The Friday, September 13th WWE Night Of Champions “go-home” edition of SmackDown drew a social media score of 84,444, according to Trendrr.tv. That number is nearly identical to last week’s 84,584.

SmackDown on Friday was the number one ranked show on cable television for the night, with the season premiere of “Haven” starring Adam “Edge” Copeland coming in at number four on the night, with a social media score of 22,492.
