– WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund’s autobiography, The All-American Boy: Lessons and Stories on Life from Wrestling Legend Bob Backlund, is scheduled for release by Sports Publishing on July 1, 2014, according to Amazon.com. It was originally scheduled to be released this month.

Top wrestling figures were interviewed for the book, including Vince McMahon. A description of the book states, “With interviews from “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and The Iron Sheik, as well as Vince McMahon, the president and CEO of the WWE, The All-American Kid tells the incredible story and career of Bob Backlund, one of the most famous wrestlers since the inception of the sport.”

– As seen Monday on Raw, WrestleMania XXX host Hulk Hogan and Sabatoge stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joe Manganiello attacked The Miz after “The Most Must-See WWE Superstar” interrupted them. In this interview with BleacherReport.com, Manganiello spoke out on his wrestling fandom.

“It’s theater. But it’s theater, [and] it’s the circus. I’ve always loved wrestling. I’ve been a massive wrestling fan…I consider myself somewhat of an encyclopedia of wrestling knowledge and I think it kind of freaks people out,” Manganiello said backstage at Raw. “We were at dinner last night and I just went nuts going through all of the old wrestlers and [it] was like ‘dude, you’re out of your mind, this is crazy.’ To be up there in the ring for the first time…I just hung out backstage and took a picture with [Sabotage co-star] Arnold [Schwarzenegger] and Hulk [Hogan] and put it on Twitter. I was like ‘Come on, this is insane, this is surreal.” I think it will probably hit me sometime tomorrow.”
