– WWE aired a commercial during Friday’s SmackDown advertising the return of Randy Orton for next week’s show.
Orton has been sidelined since December 28, 2011 due to an injury angle involving Wade Barrett.
– The January 20, 2012 episode of WWE Vintage Collection featured the following matches: Chris Jericho vs. John Cena (WWE SmackDown – July 4, 2002), John Cena vs. Eddie Guerrero (WWE Smackdown – January 30, 2003), Hardcore Battle Royal (ECW – June 13th, 2006), Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane vs. Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose (Starrcade 1988).
– Former WWE performer Maryse Ouellet celebrates her 29th birthday Saturday. Following her release from WWE last October, she announced plans for a clothing and jewelry line called House of Maryse.
