Ring of Honor Television Results – October 28, 2015

We are in San Antonio, Texas and your announcers are Nigel McGuiness and Kevin Kelly.

Kevin asks Nigel what the status is for Steve Corino. Nigel says he cannot talk any more about the situation but he reminds everyone that he has been out here before because of what Steve has done.

Match Number One: Donovan Dijak (with Truth Martini) versus Moose (with Stokely Hathaway)

They lock up and Moose pushes Dijak off and Dijak with a shoulder tackle and Moose does not move. Dijak goes for another one after Truth tells him to do it and Moose does not move. Stokely tells Moose to try and Dijak tries for a hip toss and Moose lands on his feet. Moose with a drop kick that sends Dijak to the floor. Moose sends Dijak into the guardrails.

Dijak with a uranage onto the apron and then he hits an Asai Moonsault. Moose is sent back into the ring and he goes up top and goes for another moonsault but Moose gets his knees up. Dijak backs into the corner and Moose with a shoulder tackle and a running head butt. Moose runs into an elbow and Dijak goes up top. Moose with a drop kick that knocks Dijak off the turnbuckles and sends him to the floor.

Moose with a slingshot plancha onto Dijak. They return to the ring and Moose sets for the Spear and DIjak with a leap frog. Dijak and Moose with punches. Moose with a head butt and Dijak with an elbow. Dijak comes off the ropes into a bicycle kick. Dijak with an elbow and uranage back breaker and he gets a near fall. Dijak gets Moose up for Feast Your Eyes but Moose blocks the knee and Moose sends Dijak into the corner.

Moose with a springboard round kick onto Dijak followed by a spear for the three count.

Winner: Moose

We go to commercial.

We are back and Alexander has both legs wrapped and he is limiting the movement of his left arm as he makes his way to the ring for the next match.

Dalton Castle comes out and he appears to be a little confused about what to do without his Boys to help him get into the ring. He is also not wearing his usual robe to the ring.

Match Number Two: Dalton Castle versus Cedric Alexander (with Veda Scott)

Cedric mocks Dalton and Dalton with a suplex and then he punches Cedric in the corner while the referee warns Dalton. Dalton blocks a punch and connects with a knee and he sends Cedric into the turnbuckles. Dalton with a waist lock and Cedric with elbows. Dalton with a waist lock take down. Dalton goes for the deadlift German suplex, but then decides to take him down again. Dalton with elbows to Cedric.

Dalton with a waist lock and he rolls through and connects with an elbow to the ribs. Dalton sets for the dead lift side salto and he hits it. Dalton misses a boot in the corner and Veda grabs the leg to allow Cedric to hit a running drop kick into the corner. Cedric with kick to Castle. Cedric with a chop.

Alexander with a drop kick and he chops Castle. Castle pushes Alexander and chops back. Castle with an Irish whip but Alexander goes to the apron when Castle charges. Castle catches Alexander as he comes off the ropes and he hits a suplex. Alexander with a kick but Castle wit a kick and then Castle hits Bang O Rang for the three count.

Winner: Dalton Castle

After the match, Veda Scott gets on the mic and she says that Nigel wrecklessly sanctioned a no disqualification match. A man of Cedric Alexander’s caliber has no right to be in that type of match. Veda says that she was placed in harm way through no provocation of her own. She says that is intentional infliction of emotional express. She says that this is an unsafe working environment and Ring of Honor is to blame. They will profited off their pain and suffering for the last time. They are not barbarians. They will settle this the most civilized way possible . . . in the courtroom. Things are about to get more difficult and more expensive for you . . . trust me.

We are back and Truth Martini and Jay Lethal make their way to the ring.

Truth points out that the man in the ring is not AJ Styles despite the chants from the crowd. He says that every day this man looks at himself in the mirror and he knows in his heart that he is the best.

Roderick Strong’s music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.

Roderick says that he came out here because he wanted to congratulate the House of Truth for making history. He also wanted to congratulate the man who beat him the last time they met. He wants to shake that man’s hand.

Roderick put out his hand and Jay says that when you beat a man enough, you get his respect.

Roderick shakes Truth’s hand. He says if it wasn’t for Truth, Jay Lethal would never have been Television Champion. If it wasn’t for Truth Martini, Jay Lethal would never have been World Champion. If it wasn’t for Truth Martini, Jay Lethal would not be in Ring of Honor today.

Jay asks Roderick if this is his way to embarrass him. Truth is the greatest mind in wrestling, but Jay says he did it. Jay says that Roddy cannot make him look stupid because he is the greatest wrestler in the world.

Roderick says he wants one more match.

Jay says he has beaten him a thousand times and he will beat him a thousand more. Roderick will get no more matches.

Roderick tells Jay that this is not about titles. It is about more.

Jay says it is always about the titles.

Roderick asks Jay if he is scared.

Jay tells Roderick not to make the mistake of thinking that he is not ready. Jay tells Roderick he has to go to the back of the line. Jay tells Nigel to come into the ring to tell Roderick because Nigel is the matchmaker.

Nigel comes into the ring and he tells Roddy that he had his opportunity and he had plenty of opportunities. AJ Styles is the number one contender so Roderick cannot get another shot at the World Title.

Jay says that was all he was trying to say.

Nigel has a but, and he tells Jay that since Watanabe was defeated for the Television title, there is no number one contender. Nigel says he thinks he has no choice so the number one contender for the television title is Roderick Strong.

We are back with the latest edition of Inside ROH with Mandy Leon.

This week, she talks about the Best of Five Series between ACH and Matt Sydal. After four matches, they are tied two wins apiece. We look at highlights from those four matches.

Mandy mentions that the final match of the series will be at Survival of the Fittest and the winner of that match will advance to the Survival of the Fittest Finals for a shot at the World Title.

Match Number Three: Michael Elgin, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly versus Adam Cole, Matt Taven, and Michael Bennett (with Maria Kanellis)

Fish goes after Taven while Bennett deals with Elgin. Taven runs into a boot from Fish and then Bennett is sent to the floor. Fish with a plancha onto Bennett and Taven. Kyle with a cross arm breaker and Taven in the ropes and Elgin with a plancha over Kyle and Taven onto Bennett and Cole.

Fish trips Taven and Kyle kicks him off the apron. Fish sends Taven into the ring and Kyle and Bobby work over the shoulders of Taven. Fish and O’Reilly with round kicks to Taven. Elgin with a deadlift German suplex. Kyle with an arm bar submission on Taven but Taven gets to the ropes. Fish tags in and he punches Taven in the ribs.

Fish with a knee and snap mare as we go to commercial.

We are back and Elgin has Taven up for a delayed vertical suplex. Bennett comes in and kicks Elgin but Elgin holds on and brings Taven back up to a full vertical before sending him to the mat and Elgin gets a near fall. Fish tags in and he punches Taven in the ribs. Fish with a kick to the back of the legs. Fish misses a round kick but he does not miss with a second one. Fish with elbows to Bennett and then he kicks Bennett while he stays in the ring. Fish misses a kick on Cole. Bennett with a super kick and Taven hits a springboard round kick for a near fall.

Cole tags in and he kicks Fish while Taven holds on to Fish. Cole sends Fish into the turnbuckles and he kicks Fish. Cole spits at O’Reilly and that allows Bennett to come into the match without making a tag. Bennett with a snap mare and rear chin lock. Fish with punches to Bennett but Bennett with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Bennett with a double leg take down and he catapults Fish into a forearm from Cole. Taven with a springboard elbow drop for a near fall.

Cole tags in and he kicks Fish in the ribs. Cole with a slam followed by a few elbow drop and then he hits a leaping knee drop and he gets a near fall. Taven chokes Fish from the apron and then Cole sends Fish into the turnbuckles. Bennett tags in and Fish is Irish whipped into a boot. Bennett with a forearm and Taven with a cross body to give Bennett a near fall on Fish. Taven tags back in and he punches Fish and he gets a shot in on Kyle on the apron.

Cole tags in and he kicks Fish and snap mares Kyle and applies a reverse chin lock.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Fish with an Exploder to Cole into the turnbuckles. Taven tags in and he knocks Kyle off the apron. Taven with a Samoan drop to Fish. Bennett and Elgin tag in and Elgin with a shot to Taven. Elgin with a kick to Bennett followed by a belly-to-back suplex and forearm into the corner. Elgin with another forearm and a discus forearm. Taven pulls Elgin off the turnbuckles but Elgin runs Taven into Bennett and Elgin has Bennett and Taven up for a standing power slam for a near fall.

Elgin sets for the Buckle Bomb but Bennett counters with a back body drop. Elgin with forearms to Bennett. Bennett with a punch but Elgin with a bicycle kick. Bennett with a super kick and standard kick but they have no effect on Elgin. Elgin with a shot to Bennett followed by a clothesline to Taven.

Kyle tags in and he goes up top and hits a missile drop kick on Taven and Bennett. Cole attacks Kyle but he turns his back to Kyle to pose and Kyle with a sleeper. Bennett hits Kyle from behind. Fish runs Taven into the guardrails.

Kyle with a round kick and slap followed by a knee and back leg sweep. Taven with a waist lock to Kyle and Fish with a forearm to Taven followed by a kick from Kyle. Fish with a back breaker and Kyle with a knee to Taven. Fish with a wheelbarrow suplex and Kyle gets a near fall on Bennett.

They set for Chasing the Dragon but Cole pulls Fish out of the ring. Taven and Bennett with super kick to Kyle but Elgin with forearms. Elgin runs into a double super kick. Bennett puts Kyle on the turnbuckles and they hit the Proton Pack. Cole with a Shining Wizard but Bennett can only get a near fall.

They set for a spike piledriver on Kyle but Bennett is catapulted into Taven on the turnbuckles. Elgin with a Buckle Bomb of Bennett into Taven. Kyle and Bobby hit Chasing the Dragon on Bennett and get the three count.

Winners: Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Michael Elgin

After the match, Cole gets a title belt and hits Elgin, Fish, and O’Reilly with it.

Kyle gets on the mic and he calls Cole a snake and a son of a bitch. He says you can run, but you cannot hide. You can run with your butt buddies, but you cannot hide. Kyle says he wants Adam and he wants his revenge tonight in San Antonio.

Kyle wants Nigel to make the match because of what he has done.

Nigel says that Adam cannot be in another match tonight because he has already wrestled. Next week, Adam Cole faces AJ Styles. Nigel says he cannot pull AJ from that match, but what he can do is put Kyle O’Reilly in that match so next week, it will be a Triple Threat Match.
