Ring Of Honor TV Results & Analysis – May 9, 2015

This week on Ring of Honor, we feature the wrestling return of Chris Sabin as well as a six man tag match that can’t be missed.  Let’s get to the action!
Match #1:  Chris Sabin vs.  Kyle O’Reilly
This match-up was an excellent return for Sabin that will be remembered by me for the stellar performance of O’Reilly.  The idea for this match was that Sabin was doing everything he could to bend the rules and push the boundaries of O’Reilly, who was taxed by the shenanigans of Sabin.  Sabin’s anarchy led to O’Reilly’s most memorable performance in his career yet, as was beaten to a pulp his foe, yet still had the will to stand and fight Sabin.  I couldn’t recommend this match more.
Winner:  Chris Sabin

Match #2:  Main Event – Alberto El Patron, Matt Sydal and ACH vs. Roderick Strong and The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe – Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion & Mark Briscoe)
This was as much a “Ring of Honor” bout as you’ll ever see.  From bell to bell, this match was a hard-hitting, jaw-busting, eye-popping, heart-stopping epic that could stir the soul of even the most decayed corpse, let alone a devout professional wrestling fan.  These six men stayed on the ground about as much as I comb my hair (I’m bald) and didn’t seem intent on changing their method of madness at any point.  It’s matches like this that remind me of why I don’t enjoy the WWE very much any more, as the amount of wrestling that you get in a minute of ROH easily dwarfs an hour of WWE wrestling, due to the creative stifling of Vince McMahon’s booking.  To be honest, I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just recommend this bout as highly as I can to you.
Winners:  ACH, Matt Sydal and Alberto El Patron
