ROH/NJPW War Of The Worlds On May 17 From The Hammerstein Ballroom Sold-Out

– There are no tickets remaining for Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling’s War of the Worlds show, which takes place in more than two months from now on May 17 from the Hammerstein Ballroom, Manhattan Center in New York City. With the upper balcony sold-out ROH will be expecting around 2,600 in attendance on the night. Kevin Kelly did state on his Kevin Kelly Show podcast last week that Hammerstein and ROH officials would be altering seating layout to accommodate as many fans as possible.

With this Ring of Honor is continuing a good roll of attendance for events in 2014. So far this year they have sold-out the Nashville State Fairgrounds for TV tapings at the start of January which featured the return of AJ Styles, they sold-out Wrestling’s Finest from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA, later in the month on the Saturday before the Royal Rumble, and this past weekends show from Turner Hall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was also a sell-out according to Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks.

Tickets are still available for ROH/NJPW’s Global Wars show which takes place on May 10 from the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto, with GA still remaining and ROH adding an extra four rows after initial sales were so positive.
