Rumor On Dolph Ziggler Cashing In Money In The Bank Contract, Cody Rhodes News, Maryse
- There has been strong talk within WWE of having Dolph Ziggler cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions. Whether he does it tonight or not, the feeling is that they need to have him cash it in sooner rather than later.
- Cody Rhodes noted last week that he was scheduled to leave for Cairo, Egypt to do promotional work for WWE. Cody didn’t specify when he was leaving but said it would be a “few days” after Friday’s match that he lost against Seth Rollins at NXT.
When the anti-American violence broke out in Egypt last week, talk began that WWE may pull Cody from going to the country. WWE put Cody in the Fatal 4 Way for the Intercontinental Title at tonight’s Night of Champions pay-per-view right around the same time things escalated in Egypt. No word yet on how the problems in Egypt will effect WWE’s events planned there for late October.
- Former WWE Diva Maryse participated in the 4th annual Lupus LA Celebrity Poker Tournament and rooftop party on Friday night. The event raised money for Lupus LA.
