Santino To SD?, Brodus Clay’s Dancers, UFC Lawsuit

– The Oklahoma Athletic Commission has put all “combative sports” on hold indefinitely beginning March 31st due to a potential UFC lawsuit. What it means is that if WWE, TNA, UFC or other companies run a show in Oklahoma, the Commission charges a 4% tax on all PPV buys in the state for every PPV show that the company airs for one year. UFC is threatening to sue because of the tax and the Commission is shutting down “combative sports” because of the possible lawsuit. Pro wrestling is considered a “combative sport” as well as MMA and boxing.

– As noted yesterday, The Bella Twins called Brodus Clay’s dancers “wannabes” for using their ring apron pose on Monday’s RAW Supershow. Dancer Naomi responded last night that someone should call The Bellas’ momma and dancer Cameron Lynn responded with the following: “#funkisonaroll twins & your not”

– WWE will return to the Mohegan Sun Arena on Tuesday, May 22nd for a live WWE SmackDown TV taping. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Saturday. Advertised for the show is Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Title.

It’s interesting to note that WWE United States Champion Santino Marella is being advertised as a SmackDown Superstar to appear at the tapings. Santino is currently a member of the RAW roster.
