Seth Rollins On Why Conor McGregor Is A Dweeb, Brock Lesnar’s Failed Drug Test, Says Goldberg’s Past His Prime

Add yet another top WWE name to the list of those who have addressed Conor McGregor’s recent comments about pro wrestling.

Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins appeared on ESPN’s “First Take” this weekend to promote WWE’s big SummerSlam pay-per-view event on Sunday night and during his appearance, he spoke about two hot topics from the MMA world.

Rollins was asked about the comments Conor McGregor made about WWE and while he noted that he didn’t want to take the bait because he knows McGregor was just doing what he does to promote himself. Having said that, Rollins couldn’t help but point out the way he dresses compared to “The Notorious” one, claiming that alone should tell people who the real “dweeb” is.

The WWE Superstar also discussed Brock Lesnar’s ongoing issues with USADA stemming from his Octagon return against Mark Hunt at last month’s UFC 200 pay-per-view.

“I don’t know what the UFC punishment is for what he is going to be doing, or what he failed for. And I don’t know what it’s going to be as it pertains to the WWE, that’s TBD for the moment,” said Rollins when asked what his thoughts were regarding WWE choosing not to suspend Lesnar for failing a drug test last month.

He said he would fight Goldberg “any day of the week at any time,” and added “I am a young buck, I am a young stallion. No offense to Goldberg but his day has come and gone. Goldberg’s past his prime and he can’t hang with me. Bottom line. That’s what I am saying.” Rollins also said Goldberg is too scared to come out of retirement and fight him.
