– The third season of Shawn Michaels’ television show MacMillan River Adventures returns to the Outdoor Channel on July 2.

– Speaking of Shawn Michaels & his television show, he is auctioning off a fishing trip that may air on his MacMillan River Adventures show at this link. Proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

– Former TNA Star Homicide is retiring from wrestling: According to sources, Homicide is not at all pleased with the state of professional wrestling at the current time. The former TNA and ROH star is so disgruntled that he is planning on leaving the business next year. The belief is that Homicide is having trouble garnering any attention from WWE, TNA, ROH or the independent wrestling circuit.

– Late WWE Hall of Famer Jay Strongbow died on this date last year at the age 83. He suffered injuries when he fell at home in late 2011 and he never recovered.
