Six-Man Tag Team Title Match Added To ROH United Honor: London Event

ROH issued the following:

The Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Championships have been at the center of a swirling controversy. The longest-reigning World Six-Man champs, Adam Page and the Young Bucks, were coerced into taking on SoCal Uncensored in SCU’s specialty match, a Las Vegas Street Fight at 16th Anniversary, dropping the championships to Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky. From there, following a successful defense of the championships against Flip Gordon and the Young Bucks, SCU had the titles stolen from them by The Kingdom at Supercard of Honor!

The Kingdom, who for months following TK O’Ryan’s return from a broken leg, have stated there is a Kingdom Conspiracy, telling anyone that would listen that they were being held back from a shot at the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship, titles they say they never lost. In Lowell, The Kingdom shocked the world in an impromptu main event, winning the championships in their first official shot at the titles. Now, the three teams at the center of this controversy meet in a triple-threat, Main Event with the titles on the line in London!

MAIN EVENT

ROH WORLD SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

ROH WORLD SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE KINGDOM (MATT TAVEN, VINNY MARSEGLIA, & TK O’RYAN) vs. SOCAL UNCENSORED (CHRISTOPHER DANIELS, FRANKIE KAZARIAN, & SCORPIO SKY) vs. BULLET CLUB (ADAM PAGE & THE YOUNG BUCKS)

The Kingdom made good on their promise to recapture the championships they say they never lost at War of the Worlds – Lowell when they defeated SoCal Uncensored following their surprise ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title shot. Now, they have to put their money where their mouths are. The first-ever two-time Six-Man Tag Team Champions head to London to the main event of Honor United – London where they defend against the longest-reigning champions in history, Adam Page and The Young Bucks and the former champions SoCal Uncensored!

The Kingdom’s Matt Taven saw disappointment turn to jubilation when an injury prohibited Dalton Castle from defending his World Championship in Lowell. But like a proud papa, the Quarterback of the Kingdom led the Kingdom, reformed in his image in the fall of 2016, back to World Six-Man Tag Team gold! With Taven leading the charge, The Kingdom find themselves in the most high-profile match they have ever been in with two trios that have been there before!

With main event experience so important, and both SCU and Bullet Club having it in spades, The Kingdom head to London the champions but perhaps underdogs in their first main event defense. Will The Kingdom assert their claim to the throne just miles away from The Queen herself or will either trio of former champions pick up the victory and leave the UK two-time champions in their own right? Join us in London as Honor Untied – London broadcasts LIVE for HonorClub!

Ring of Honor returns to Edinburgh and London and debuts in Doncaster when the Best Wrestling on the Planet returns to the UK for the Honor United Tour!
