Smackdown Main Event & More News On Tonight’s WWE Tapings

WWE will tape tonight’s NXT and this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Cincinnati, Ohio.

As of Tuesday morning, no matches have been announced for NXT.

It’s been announced that the main event for Friday’s SmackDown will be feature World Heavyweight champion Edge teaming with Randy Orton to take on WWE Champion The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. Edge and Randy Orton were a tag team several years ago on the RAW brand, wrestling as “Rated RKO.”

Wade Barrett vs. Big Show has also been booked for tonight’s SmackDown tapings, so expect to see that on Friday night as well.

These will be the last tapings before WWE’s Royal Rumble.
