Smackdown Rating News, Ryder’s Latest Show Update, Ryback

– As seen on SmackDown, Brodus Clay spoke and introduced Hornswoggle as his “little brother.” Hornswoggle wrote the following about his new partner: “Had an amazing time joining @BrodusClay on #SmackDown tonight!!! WWE Universe, tell “them” that you want to see more of the “Tiny-Dactyl”!”

– Things aren’t looking good for WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown, ratings-wise. The disappointing 1.55 cable rating from the live show on April 10th brought SmackDown’s yearly average for 2012 to a 1.97. SmackDown finished 2011 with an average rating of 1.97.

– Zack Ryder continues to tweet about his newest YouTube episode being edited by WWE. Ryder says the best two minutes were edited out of this week’s episode but tells fans to “watch it anyway.” Ryder also told fans to quit chanting “hoeski” at Eve Torres because he doesn’t want to be associated with her anymore.

– WWE has a new article up looking at Ryback’s domination. They point out that the SmackDown Superstar “channels” a group of former WWE Superstars. They list Goldberg, The Ultimate Warrior, JBL, Psycho Sid and the late Bam Bam Bigelow as WWE Legends that live within Ryback “as he paves a destructive path where mere mortals fear to tread.”
