It was announced at Tuesday night’s SmackDown tapings that Dean Ambrose will defend his WWE United States Title against Dolph Ziggler at the Night of Champions pay-per-view. Here’s the updated card:

WWE Title Match
Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton

World Heavyweight Title Match
Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio

WWE United States Title Match
Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose

WWE Divas Title Match
Natalya vs. Naomi vs. Brie Bella vs. AJ Lee

Handicap Elimination Match
CM Punk vs. Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel

Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler for US title at Night of Champions could prove to be a good match. The Shield should not interfere fully to ruin a quality contest. If WWE don’t want to change title, then Ambrose can win clean or can use mere distraction by his stable mates. Otherwise they can make Ziggler look strong by a Disqualification win against US champion, when the Shield runs over.

Please let AJ lose the title to either Naomi or Natalya.

Tis shaping up to be a quality PPV line-up. So far every match is winning.
