Spoiler: WWE Championship Match Announced For WWE Battleground Pay-Per-View

It was announced at Tuesday’s WWE Main Event television tapings in Cincinnati that Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton will face each other for the vacant WWE Title at WWE’s first-ever Battleground pay-per-view.

WWE Battleground takes place on October 6th from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York. As always PWMania.com will be providing live exclusive results coverage of the event.

Since Daniel Bryan was stripped of the WWE Championship last night, I
was hoping for there to be a tournament for the title that would lead to
a final match for the title at Battleground. It could have had Bryan in
that final match, then having a DQ ending on it, then further the story
from there if they’re going to keep this going on and on for a bit
    anyway.
