*Spoilers* WWE Smackdown Taping Results For 10/28

WWE taped this week’s Smackdown tonight from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Below are full results:

Smackdown Results (Airing Friday on SyFy):

-Teddy Long opens the show with a short promo about the World Heavyweight Championship after the no contest finish at Vengeance. Christian interrupts him, as does CM Punk, who informs the crowd that tonight will be a Supershow, meaning Raw talent will appear. Christian vs. CM Punk is set for tonight.

-The Miz & R-Truth b. Air Boom. The Miz and Truth cut a short promo after the victory about their match with The Rock and John Cena at Survivor Series.

-Wade Barrett b. Trent Barreta in what was basically a squash match.

-Randy Orton b. Dolph Ziggler. Cody Rhodes did commentary for the match, and following Orton’s win, there was a staredown between Rhodes and Orton.

-Matt Striker interviewed Sin Cara Negro, now unmasked, backstage. He cut a promo about his unmasking and being disrespected by Sin Cara Azul.

-Daniel Bryan b. Tyson Kidd by submission with the LeBell lock.

-Michael Cole repeated his actions from Raw, standing on the announce table and mocking Jim Ross with the doctored photos. Cole then announced that JR had accepted the Michael Cole Challenge for this Monday.

-Big Show cut an in-ring promo about his match with Mark Henry at Vengeance and said that Teddy Long has promised him a rematch very soon. Henry interrupts and says that he’s finished with Big Show after Vengeance. Henry almost entered the ring, but backed down. They stare each other down.

-CM Punk b. Christian. During the match, Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez came down to distract Punk. Sheamus came out to distract Christian shortly after. Punk celebrates to end the show.

Dark Match Main Event

-Tony Chimel announces that tonight will feature a 41-man Raw vs. Smackdown battle royal.

-Sheamus won the 41-man battle royal. The apparent final four were The Miz, R-Truth, and Randy Orton. Christian had hid outside the ring for much of the match and slid in at the end to try to eliminate Sheamus, but Sheamus eliminated Christian to win. Christian claimed he still deserves one more match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
