Steph McMahon Says WWE Is Interested In More Startup Companies

WWE executive vice president Stephanie McMahon, was interviewed by investment website PEHub.com on WWE’s investment in the Tout social media start-up. This comes following Tout announcing a $13.4 million round of funding spearheaded by WWE. She noted this won’t be the only start-up they invest in.

“Tout is really the first deal that we’ve done of this kind,” said Stephanie McMahon, “but we’re very opportunistic, so if the right opportunity came along, we’d definitely consider it.” Investing in startups is “something we’re exploring.”
