Sting Retains Title In Brief Match, New Knockouts Champions
– Tonight’s Victory Road pay-per-view telecast was briefly broadcast in Spanish.
– Sarita and Rosita defeated Angelina Love and Winter tonight at Victory Road to win the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship.
The finish saw Velvet Sky attempt to help the champions, but instead inadvertently helped the challengers, as Rosita pinned Winter for the win. Afterward, Sky tried to explain what happened, but Winter and Love left her behind.
– Sting retained the TNA World Heavyweight Championship tonight against Jeff Hardy in a match that last approximately ninety seconds. Eric Bischoff announced prior to the bout that it would be a No Disqualification Match. Sting reigned victorious following the Scorpion Death Drop, the only move of the match.
