Sting Says Match With Undertaker Doesn’t Need The Streak, Talks Fans Remembering Him, More

Sting recently spoke with Sam Roberts at the WWE 2K15 roster reveal in Los Angeles on Saturday, as seen below.

Here are the highlights:

Has he hoped the WWE audience would remember him:
“Based on what happened at Comic Con and what happened today on the panel for WWE 2K15, it doesn’t seem like there’s any kind of issue. It seems like they all know, they’re all aware, they’re all excited.”

Does The Streak ending diminish a match against The Undertaker:
“No it doesn’t diminish things. I did have a moment of, “Ah it’s over, I’ll never be able to get in the ring with Taker.” Because he’s lost doesn’t mean he’s done or leaving. I can’t imagine Taker leaving or being done. I just cannot imagine that. I don’t know what’s going on with him for sure but man, I think Taker vs. Sting doesn’t need a Streak storyline. We just need Taker and Sting and that’s it.”

Are there other guys on the roster he would like to face:
“I think a guy from my generation, it only makes sense not to just me but wrestling fans too, to see me wrestle someone from my generation, someone I’ve never wrestled most importantly. I think that would be the first choice for wrestling fans too.”
