Surprises Teased For SummerSlam, Match Expected To Be Added
– Jim Ross stated on Twitter that he will be calling tonight’s SummerSlam pay-per-view broadcast alongside Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. He also noted that some surprise matches will be added to the event.
Rey Mysterio is expected to face The Miz at tonight’s event. The rumored match, however, hinges on whether Rey is able to compete despite his recent knee injury. A injury angle took place last week on Raw where The Miz attacked his rival before even had a chance to enter the ring for their scheduled match.
