Antonio Cesaro goes one on one with Kassius Ohno. The ref gets knocked out by Ohno’s rolling elbow roughly fourteen minutes into the match when Cesaro pulls the ref in the way. Ohno wins the match by DQ and the FCW locker room has to come down and pull these two apart. ^Cesaro and Ohno wrestled as the Kings of Wrestling on the independent circuit. This match was ppv quality without question and I want to see more of these two going one on one. The finish was good becauseRead More

ThunderStruck: FCW Recap And Thoughts 05/06/12

Jason Jordan and Mike Dalton team up in our opening match to take on former Florida Heavyweight Champion Leo Kruger and Brad Maddox. Maddox uses some sort of jumping swinging pull down facebuster(apparently called the Deal Breaker) on Jason Jordan to get the three count win for him and Kruger. ^Looks like we found out what Leo Kruger is going to do now that his title run is over. Jordan and Dalton both looked good in this match; I’m starting to like their potential as a tag team together. MaddoxRead More

ThunderStruck: FCW Recap And Thoughts 04/29/12

Rick Victor defeats Benicio Salazar in the opening match using the Canadian Lifter(flying back elbow). ^Victor was actually trained in the Hart family dungeon and has been wrestling on the independent scene since 2001. I’m somewhat surprised by how very basic his in ring approach seem to be. Despite having a very solid technical game, it seems as though he needs a lot more work before he’s ready for any sort of push up the roster with his lack of wow factor with his moveset. Salazar doesn’t seem like anythingRead More

ThunderStruck: FCW Recap And Thoughts 04/22/12

Jason Jordan goes one on one with Damien Sandow. They wrestle for about six and a half minutes before Jordan gets the “upset” bridging trap pinfall. ^This was surprising to see Sandow lose here after his promos have aired on Smackdown. I’m guessing that he might be the guy that thinks he’s always right but doesn’t necessarily win every match. This could also just be his FCW sendoff and his way of putting someone over before he goes to the main roster full time. Jordan was very impressive in thisRead More
