On Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, World Heavyweight champion Edge announced that he is retiring from the squared circle. According to sources in WWE, Edge’s retirement announcement is 100% legitimate and not a television storyline. Edge said that he recently had his neck checked out and the results were not good. WWE Raw announcer CM Punk, who is currently on the sidelines nursing a lower back injury, is scheduled to return to action next week.
