The Big List Of WWE Wellness Program Violations

On February 27, 2006, WWE implemented a Talent Wellness Program. The program has two components: 1) an aggressive substance abuse and drug testing policy; and 2) a cardiovascular testing and monitoring program. Since the implementation of the program, WWE has issued over 50 suspensions, with the latest being Roman Reigns.

WWE announced on June 21, 2016 that Reigns, whose real name Joe Anoa`i, has been suspended 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the program.

Immediately following the announcement, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion issued a statement on Twitter regarding his suspension.

“I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy,” he stated. “No excuses. I own it.”

Here is the complete list of known WWE suspensions during this time.
