The Cahoon Run Down: Taking Time Off

Hey everybody, Geddy Cahoon here. If you’re friends with me on Facebook or have read my MiTB prediction two-part article, then you know that I’ve recently been battling an illness. Now I don’t usually like to complain or take liberties when I get sick or stuff like that – Typically I take my lumps and keep going. But this time something’s different. I haven’t felt better since I got sick, and I first started feeling bad about a week ago. I’m not sure what’s wrong with me. I assume it’s nothing too serious; I’m not on the verge of dying or anything. I’m just really really tired. My head hurts, I’m sleeping all the time… Like I said, I HATE complaining about this kind of crap, especially to people I (for the most part) don’t know on the internet. But I didn’t want to go off the grid with no explanation.

Sometimes, I take a week off due to a personal matter or a social thing that outranks writing about wrestling on the internet. This time, I need an extended period of time off. I’m not sure how long it’s going to be; I’ll be back when I’m better. I just don’t want to be tethered to a weekly, consistent writing schedule when I’m feeling so crappy. I feel different every day when I wake up; I don’t want to say I’ll be good every week and then wake up on Thursday unable to write.

The other issue is: There’s pretty much NOTHING to write about these days. Except for how awesome the Prime Time Players are (Seriously; Darren Young and Titus O’Neil ROCK)… I’d rather not write at all than put out labored, half-assed crap each week. If something earth-shattering happens that absolutely warrants an article, maybe I’ll throw something up. But until I’m back at 100%, don’t expect a weekly article from me. I don’t know how long this is going to last… Hopefully not much longer.

I’ll throw Facebook statuses up from time to time still – Comments on stuff in the wrestling news realm. Short little crap like that I can do, and laying in bed is extremely bored. Friend me on Facebook to read my statuses or talk wrestling (NoDQ Geddy Cahoon) and email me to talk about past articles or current wrestling stuff that interests you (hahahahawhy@Yahoo.com). Also, be sure to check out all my other articles to tide you over until I get back.

I’m sure a lot of you guys don’t realize how much you mean to me – The fact that people actually care about and value my opinion on this crap really fills me with joy. I put a lot in to these articles. Your enjoyment is what kept me going, for almost a year at this point! I’ll be back as soon as I can. Until that happens, thanks for reading!
