The Justin Credible Report – WWE SummerSlam, TNA Hardcore Justice, DDP Yoga & More
Welcome to this week’s Justin Credible report exclusively on PWMania.com. Monday night was the last Raw before Summer Slam 13, and from what I see it’s typical WWE two match show. The line up so far WWE title John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan with HHH as special guest ref, CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar, World title Alberto Del Rio vs. Christian, Ring of Fire match Kane vs. Bray Wyatt, and Natalya vs. Brie Bella. RVD won the 20 man battle royal for a shot at the US title vs. Dean Ambrose in the PPV pre show.
RVD is way too over to be on a pre-show, but what do I know. Look for Randy Orton to make an impact on the WWE main event match, possibly cashing in the MITB briefcase. Still should be a good show. I would personally like to see every match mean a little more. Nothing really strikes me on the middle to bottom of the PPV card.
BJ Whitmer is still not out of the woods with the injury he sustained from the piledriver on the apron. I hope he is able to bounce back. Anytime you deal with neck and head injuries it’s complex. I wish him a speedy recovery.
TNAs updated lineup for this Thursdays Hardcore Justice themed Impact. Chris Sabin vs. Bully Ray cage match, Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles vs. Austin Aries vs. Kazarian in a 4 way spot fest ladder match, Magnus vs. Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Rhoode vs. Ken Anderson in a tables match with 20 Bound for Glory points at stake, and Mickie James and Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky and ODB in a tornado match.
I’m not sure why TNA tends to overbook all of their matches. More doesn’t mean better. If that was the case the 60 man battle royals would be a huge ratings draw. They figure just throw in as many names into one match and that will be GREAT. Not necessarily the case.
I just wish TNA would get back to basics. Good characters, going for titles, wins and loses matter. They have all the great talent they need to be a viable promotion. They just always try to complicate things and end up being WWE lite.
Don’t miss this week’s episode of Pro Wrestling 101 on Promos, really good feedback from the fans on that one. Catch the series on www.youtube.com/polacopeter73. You can watch this week’s episode below:
I wrestled for a great Indy upstart called PPW in PA. They had a sell-out crowd of 350 fans, standing room only. Also that night they raised $5000 for a special needs child. Job well done.
This week I return to Long Island, NY Friday night for FTW wrestling. A great promotion. I always have a lot of fun there, come join us if your in the NY area.
Also if you want to hear more of what I have to say got to www.TheJustinCredible.com my Daily Hardcore Ramblings are updated every day.
I have set out and registered to become certified in DDPYoga. When I get the certification I will be bringing it to Rehab and recovery centers all over. A great way for me to give back and start to carve a niche when I decide to exit the wrestling biz, but that’s not happening anytime soon.
