The Miz New WWE Champ, CM Punk Joins Raw Broadcast Team
It was announced on this week’s edition of Raw that CM Punk will be on the Raw broadcast team for the foreseeable future. Punk joined Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler during this week’s Raw broadcast. WWE is using Punk on commentary because want to use him while he is out recovering from a hip injury.
The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot at the end of this week’s edition of WWE Raw to win the WWE Championship from Randy Orton. Orton beat Wade Barrett in the main event after an assist from John Cena. Orton, who had been selling a knee “injury” following an attack from The Nexus, had to face Miz as soon as the bout with Barrett ended.
