The Squared Circle – Looking At The Road To WWE WrestleMania 31

Following a furious Fast Lane, Wrestlemania is now where superstars and the WWE Universe alike set their GPS. Many matches are starting to surface on the official card and others are morphing weekly building turmoil and anticipation along the way.

Officially we have the blockbuster Main Event of Brock Lesnar defending the title against Roman Reigns and even a good chance of a Seth Rollins Briefcase Cash In following the brutal clash of the beasts. Believe That.

Sting Vs HHH is now official after the bat outweighed sledge hammer in a historic Fast Lane Face To Face segment I chronicled in the debut of Squared Circle.

Bad News Barrett is now advertised for defending the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match versus multiple challengers. This story to me is very intriguing and has been picking up steam over the last week on Raw and Smackdown. Barrett has suffered some losses to the very men that will likely fill out this high octane, fast paced bout. Look for Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, R. Truth and maybe even a returning Sheamus to be added in the coming weeks.

The advertised Sheamus return adds a nice wrinkle to the prediction process for Mania because WWE could bring him back with a vengeance in a heel role at the IC Ladder Match, feature and have him take the Andre The Giant Memorial Trophy or turn the US Championship into a Fatal Four Way between Rusev, Cena, Swagger and Sheamus.

Other matches that are nearing confirmation soon are the Undertaker Vs Bray Wyatt, Stardust taking on his brother Gold Dust, and some sort of Tag Team Title Rematch between the Usos and Fact Cats which could see the Ascension and or the Prime Time Players crashing the party as well.

One last story that is simmering and ready to boil over at any moment is the love/hate relationship between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins. These two have been friends at odds with each other for quite some time and at Wrestlemania I expect us to finally see the encounter it’s taken months to mature. Most believe Rollins will somehow someway walk out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Mania but if there is anyone that will try everything in his power to foil the plan it is the Viper with a long con.

In a parting shot, I would like to take a brief moment to thank Andy Cardoso at PWMania for this opportunity, and to many of you for the RAW posters, comments, critique, and discussion. I look forward to bringing you more exclusive Squared Circles in the future.
