-Newly signed TNA wrestler Tiger Uno was interviewed by Mexican Sports website MedioTiempo. Below are the translated highlights courtesy of TNAInsider.

On how his TNA tryouts and contract came about:
“I sent [TNA] my US independent wrestling dates and thank GOD, they contacted me back. I already had quite a few dates filled up so it took a while but finally I made it to Orlando. It was pretty emotional for me and I was really happy to see all of these years of hard work convert into great opportunities. They invited me to participate in TNA and they liked my style so they offered me a contract.”

Whether he will be allowed to do any independent dates in Mexico:
“We came to an agreement on that. I will continue to present myself in Mexico. I’m open to any promoter there at any time as long as there is no conflict in dates. I already have a few independent events set up in the Mexican territories.”

On making his debut at TNA Lockdown in Miami, Florida:
“It’s a great moment for me. My style hasn’t changed at all. I just made a small change to my name. Now i just have to push myself to be in the good graces of the fans and TNA. They gave me an opportunity and I’m going to take advantage of that to the best of my abilities.”
